    • A system, apparatus and method for managing input/output requests in a multi-processor system is disclosed. An IO coherence unit includes an IO request handler, a variable size transaction table, and an IO response handler. The size of the transaction table varies according to the number of pending IO requests. The IO request handler stores information about pending IO requests in the transaction table to establish an order among related requests and to permit out-of-order handling of unrelated requests. The IO response handler tracks responses to the IO requests and updates the information in the transaction table. The IO coherence unit returns responses to requesting devices in compliance with device ordering requirements.

    • Techniques for initializing an arbitrary portion of memory with an arbitrary pattern includes using a memory controller for performing sequenced read and write operations. The memory controller receives address data, length data and pattern data on a data bus connected to a processor. The address data indicates a location in memory. The length data indicates an amount of memory to be initialized. The pattern data indicates a particular series of bits that is much shorter than the amount of memory indicated by the length data. The memory controller performs multiple write operations on memory beginning at a first location based on the address data and ending at a second location based on the length data. Each write operation writes the pattern data to a current location in memory, thereby initializing the arbitrary portion of memory with an arbitrary pattern based on the pattern data.

    • A power line communication system is applied in a building and a plurality of power lines is laid in the building. Alternating current and at least a power line communication signal can be transmitted via the plurality of power lines. The power line communication system comprises at least a wireless remote control apparatus, at least a communication equipment and at least a power supply module. At least a wireless signal is transmitted by the at least a wireless remote control apparatus to the at least a communication equipment by using a wireless transmission protocol. The at least a communication equipment is combined with the building for receiving the at least a wireless signal. The at least wireless signal is then transformed into a power line communication signal and the power line communication signal is then transmitted to the at least a power supply module via the plurality of power lines. The at least a power supply module is electrically connected to ends of the plurality of power lines to receive the power line communication signal in order to execute a corresponding action.
