摘要： A method of manufacturing a nonvolatile organic memory device including a memory layer interposed between an upper electrode layer and a lower electrode layer, which includes dispersing ions of conductive nanoparticles in an organic material disposed between the two electrode layers and then reducing the ions of conductive nanoparticles into conductive nanoparticles in the organic material to form a desired memory layer. In addition, a nonvolatile organic memory device manufactured by the method of the current invention is also provided. The method allows the memory device to be manufactured using a rapid, simple, and environmentally friendly process, without the need for an encapsulation process. As well, the memory device has a low operating voltage, and hence, is suitable for application to various portable electronic devices that must have low power consumption.

The organic memory device may include a first electrode, a second electrode and an organic active layer between first and second electrodes, wherein the organic active layer is formed of a mixture of a conductive polymer and a metallocene compound. Because the organic memory device possesses decreased switching time, decreased operating voltage, decreased fabrication costs and increased reliability, the organic memory device may be used as a highly integrated large-capacity memory device.

摘要： A home appliance network system and a method for operating the same, wherein a network master can not only automatically generate a unique house address of a corresponding home, but also sense a network collision of the corresponding home with a neighboring home to maintain house address uniqueness. The network master manages/controls one or more home appliances connected to a network of the corresponding home and determines whether the generated house address collides with that of the neighboring home. If the generated house address is determined to collide with that of the neighboring home, the network master automatically changes the house address to a new one to maintain house address uniqueness. As a result, the network master can prevent a network interference/collision with the neighboring home, thereby increasing security and stability of the home appliance network system at low cost.

The system and method enable a new master device to be automatically connected to a network, when the network system is newly constructed or when the new master device is additionally connected to the network with which at least one master device has already been connected. A plurality of slave devices are connected to the network constructed within a building to transmit and receive data through the network. At least one master device controls the slave devices. A network manager automatically assigns a network address to the master device to appropriately connect the master device to the network when the master device is newly connected to the network or additionally connected to the network with which an existing master device is connected. Therefore, a network connection and a setting task associated with the master device are automatically performed, thereby easily and conveniently managing the network and hence reducing costs for managing the network.
