摘要： A liquid ejecting device can print a high quality image having an increased number of gradations without having a complex head structure, and is suitable for use in a line head. The liquid ejecting device includes a head in which liquid ejecting portions including nozzles are arranged in parallel. A droplet can be deflected at the moment of ejection from the nozzle of each of liquid ejecting portion. By controlling at least two different liquid ejecting portions in adjacent positions to eject droplets, a pixel column or a pixel is formed.

摘要： Disclosed is a liquid emitting apparatus for emitting a liquid pressurized by a pressure generated by a pressure generating element is emitted as liquid droplets onto a support. A controller (68) controls an emission controller (63) so that the current value of the pulse current supplied to a heating resistor (42a) will have a current value difference within ±10% with respect to the current value of the pulse current supplied to a heating resistor (42b). By so doing, variations in the position of deposition of an ink droplet i emitted with variable emitting directions may be suppressed to enable printing to a high-quality image in which deterioration in the image quality variations ascribable to color time variations or white streaks is prohibited.

摘要： The present invention is directed to a liquid discharge apparatus adapted for discharging inks from discharge holes, which includes a control unit for controlling a discharge control unit, wherein the control unit controls the discharge control unit in such a manner that pulse current delivered to one of a pair of heating resistors is caused to be reference, and pulse current is delivered to the other heating resistor in the state where timing is shifted in a time of the range within 20% of supply time of pulse current serving as reference with respect to supply timing of pulse current serving as reference. Thus, it is possible to suppress unevenness or variation of impact positions of ink droplets discharged in the state where discharge direction has been changed. As a result, deterioration of picture quality resulting from color tone unevenness and/or white stripe, etc. is prevented. Thus, print operation can be performed at excellent picture quality.

The liquid discharge device comprises: individual channels (20) provided for each of the liquid discharge portions so as to communicate with the ink liquid chamber (12) and supply liquid to within the ink liquid chamber (12); and a common channel (30) which is provided to the plurality of individual channels (20) so as to communicate with each of the plurality of individual channels (20), for supplying liquid to the plurality of individual channels (20). The common channel (30) includes a first common channel (31) provided on a liquid supply source side, and a second common channel (32) provided adjacent to the individual channels (20), and having liquid channel resistance greater than that of the first common channel (31).

摘要： In a liquid ejecting device having a head formed by a liquid ejecting portion or liquid ejecting portions arranged in parallel, the direction of ejected liquid is controlled for each liquid ejecting portion. In the head of the liquid ejecting device, heating resistors which are connected in series to one other in a liquid cell are arranged in parallel in a predetermined direction. The liquid ejecting device includes a main operation controller which performs control for ejecting liquid by supplying equal amounts of currents to the connected heating resistors, and a sub operation controller including a current-mirror circuit connected to a junction of heating resistors and its switching element. By using the current-mirror circuit and the switching element to allow a current to flow into or from a junction of the heating resistors, the amounts of currents supplied to the heating resistors are controlled and the direction of ejected liquid is controlled (changed).
