摘要： PURPOSE:To shorten an arithmetic time and speed up scrolling operation by specifying an optional image on a screen as a basic point image, and erasing images other than the basic point image and scrolling the image. CONSTITUTION:When a request for scrolling is inputted on a keyboard 4 and the image as a basic point is specified, an arithmetic processing part 11 erases the images except the specified image and updates data in an image memory. Then the processing part 11 shifts the specified display image in display position on a CRT 2 by following up the input from a touch panel 3 for instructing the movement of the image and when an end request is inputted on the keyboard 4, the processing part 11 restores a display picture based on the position of the current specified image as the basic point, stores the image memory 16 with information on the restored picture, and scrolls the display area on the display screen of the CRT while optionally specifying the display area. During this period, only the basic point image is displayed, so the amount of information processed for the movement of the image decreases.

As a result, the information on the hidden equipment graphic display is reproduced from the display on a CRT screen by a composite display. Then it is not required to display again a concrete graphic and to cancel the control screen for process control or the display screen for detailed monitoring information during the composite display.
