      SOLUTION: A table roll to be used in a run-in table facility for transferring a bar steel to a cooling bed in a steel rolling process comprises a metallic roll base body 3 having a cylindrical roll barrel and a cylindrical part formed inside the roll barrel with a rotary shaft being connected thereto. An annular recessed groove 6a is formed in an outer circumference of the roll barrel of the roll base body and/or an inner circumference of the ceramic sleeve. An elastic metallic ring 5a for transmitting the torque is fitted to and interposed in the recessed groove, and the ceramic sleeve is attached to an outer circumference of the roll barrel.
