摘要： PURPOSE: To realize a display controller for performing a satisfactory display to a liquid crystal panel in which a pixel pitch is made fine by using a conventional liquid crystal driving circuit. CONSTITUTION: Display data are rearranged in accordance with switching groups 118 to 121 by a display controller 102. Then, display data are successively outputted to a column circuit 110 for every data corresponding to respective switching groups. Then, switching groups 118 to 121 are made to be opened and closed by control signals 122 to 125 in accordance with display data to be displayed. Consequently, the display data can be outputted only to X electrodes connected to the switching group to which pertinent display data are made to correspond. Thus, this controller can cope with a high difinition liquid crystal panel without necessitating the increasing of the number of output terminals of the column circuit and the fining of the pich of the output perminal.
