    • PURPOSE:To avoid an intermittent phenomenon of a GTO which is produced in case a load current does not reach a holding current, by providing a gate current supply circuit using an MOSFET between the anode and the gate of the GTO. CONSTITUTION:Both an MOSFET51 and a GTO11 are turned on when a positive gate signal is impressed. Then an MOSFET52 and a GTO2 are also turned on. Thus the ON actions 51-5n are kept ON while the positive gate signal that can prevent the reduction of the electric charge between the gate and the source of the FET51 is impressed. Thus the switch circuits are kept ON, although the load current is set less than the holding current of the GTO.
