摘要： PURPOSE:To enable rapid heating and cooling of local areas in a phase-shift type optical recording film, and to improve the erasing rate and record retaining property by sandwiching the recording film with heat-insulating films which are formed in a manner that the elements of the compounds constituting the recording film are gradedly change in the oxides into the heat-insulating films. CONSTITUTION:The heat-insulating film 5 comprising antimony oxide and indium oxide is formed on a substrate 1 with tracks 2 by sputtering on indium-antimony alloy as a target with supplying carrier gas containing large amount of oxygen. Then the amount of oxygen is reduced while the amount of indium antimony in the film 5 is raised to form the phase-shift type optical recording film 3 comprising indium antimony. Then the amount of oxygen gas is raised again to form the heat insulating film 5. The recording film thus formed between the heat-insulating films can be locally, rapidly heated or cooled by laser irradiation, which improves the erasing rate and record retaining property.

摘要： PURPOSE:To enable rewriting by forming an interlayer on the recessed and projection part of pregrooves on a substrate, providing a recording layer thereon with an adhesive and using reflected or refracted light for guiding laser light due to the differences of refractive indices between the interlayer and the substrate resin or the adhesive. CONSTITUTION:The pregrooves (guide grooves) 2 are formed in the upper part of the transparent substrate resin 1, on which the interlayer 3 having a different refractive index from that of the substrate 1 is provided. Then the resin adhesive layer 4 and recording layer 5 are formed, and a protective layer 6 is formed. Difference in the refractive indices between the interlayer 3 and the substrate 1 or adhesive layer 4 gives reflected or refracted light for guiding the laser light. Any transparent material can be used for the interlayer 3, and preferably ZnS, SiO2, MgF2, MgO, etc., are used.

Namely, in order to erase collectively the information of the optical disk medium, the laser beam of the large area is used, further, the multi-beams whose power is weakened in the sequence of irradiations is used, and thus, the efficiency of erasing in increased. Thus, the whole surface of the optical disk 20 can be erased in a short time, simply and surely.

By this constitution, the circular light and the elliptical light can be irradiated by using one light source 15, and the optical system can be simplified.

摘要： PURPOSE:To realize large-capacity recording, by linearly moving the rotating device of an electron beam disk in accordance with the signal of a central processor and aligning an information processing position with an electron beam projecting position. CONSTITUTION:A beam deflector 14 scans an electron beam 11 converged into a diameter of 0.1mum in an extent of a diameter 500mum under the control of a beam deflector control circuit 17 and writes information on an electron beam disk 16. Moreover, secondary electron beams produced from the disk 16 are detected by using a secondary electron beam detector 8 and recorded information is obtained. Then automatic focusing servo is performed by detecting a dislocation from a track by means of a track position signal reading-out circuit 20 by using the signal of a signal detecting circuit 19. A disk rotating device 15, on the other hand, moves linearly when a disk driving device 23 is actuated by the signal of a disk driving control circuit 22. Therefore, the electron beam 11 moves linearly while the scanning extent of 500mum in diameter is maintained and information can be written on the disk 16 over a wide area.
