      SOLUTION: In the complex fluid machine 40, a control section 56 decreases the rotation speed of the motor generator 50 on receiving a request to connect the compressor section 60 with the motor generator 50, when a motor generator 50 is rotated by mechanical energy output from the expander section 85, the compressor section 60 is not driven, and the compressor section 60 and the motor generator 50 are disconnected by the switching means C. Then, the control section 56 makes the switching means C switch the motor generator 50 and the compressor section 60 to be in the connected state, when the rotation speed of the motor generator 50 is smaller than a preset predetermined rotation speed.

The rotation preventing mechanism 40 has a fixed side pin 42 protruding from the rear end surface 12a of the front housing 12 into the circular hole 21d, and an intermediate pin 43 arranged contactably with the movable side pin 41 and the fixed side pin 42 in the circular hole 21d, and further has a retainer 44 for retaining the intermediate pin 43 between the movable side pin 41 and the fixed side pin 42 in the circular hole 21d.
