      SOLUTION: A recording method increases at least one side viscosity of an anionic polymer and a cationic polymer by a contact method by having a process for preparing a first ink composition which contains a solvent, a color material and an anionic polymer and the color material are included in the anionic polymer and a second ink composition containing the solvent, the color material and the cationic polymer and a process for bringing the first ink composition and the second ink composition into contact on a medium to attach thereon and increasing at least one side viscosity of the anionic polymer and the cationic polymer by the contact method. The ink set is prepared with the first ink composition and the second ink composition applicable to this recording method.
