    • PURPOSE:To make the formation of copied images of good quality at arbitrary magnifications possible with simple constitution by driving electric motors for moving a photoreceptor and a scanning system respectively by the constant frequency signal obtained by dividing the frequencies of a reference signal and the frequency signal of frequencies varying with magnifications. CONSTITUTION:The reference frequency signal from a reference signal generating circuit 50 provided with a quartz oscillator, etc. is divided down by a frequency dividing circuit 52 to a constant frequency signal by which a synchronous motor M2 or the like for rotating a photosensitive drum is driven at a constant speed via a sine wave generating circuit 54, etc. At the same time, the reference frequency signal from the circuit 50 is variably divided down according to magnifications in a frequency dividing circuit 51, and a synchronous motor M1 for moving a subject such as microfilm is driven at the signal of the frequencies corresponding to magnifications. Therefore, the scaning system and the photoreceptor are driven accurately in a synchronized state at the speed ratios corresponding always to the selected magnifications. As a result, the copied images of good quality at arbitrary magnifications are formed with the simple constitution requiring no speed changers, etc.

    • PURPOSE:To prevent the toner from sticking around the copy and to prevent malfunction by providing a copying means which makes the copies having always positive images by selectively projecting an original having negative images and an original having positive images to a photoreceptor. CONSTITUTION:The copying apparatus is so constituted that at the time of feeding photosensitive paper S to a copying part 15 a charger 17 is changed over of its charging characteristics depending upon the kinds of the originals to be copied. Namely, the charger 17 is so arranged as to charge the photosensitive paper to the polarity differring from the polarity of the developing toner of a developing device 19 when copying the reflected original having positive images and to charge the photosensitive paper to the same polarity as the polarity of the developing toner of the developing device 19 when copying a microfilm original having negative images. As a result, the sticking of the toner around the copy having the positive images does not occur despite the use of the original of either positive or negative images, and the possibility for mistaking the copying work is eliminated.

    • PURPOSE:To dispose the head information of the desired information groups at a predetermined position automatically by one action by disposing the operating switch for commanding the placement of a head portion of the information groups at a predetermined position. CONSTITUTION:In the information retrieval device for making retrieval to a desired information from the microfilm having a plurality of the information, in the case of being placed at a desired page on the way of the desired information in question, differentiating signal differentiated the brake signal c from the retrieval control circuit 34 in differentiating circuit 37 sets FF2 and resets FF1. The output of FF2 is fed to AND gate G1, and when pressing the head detection key 33, the gate G1 is opened and FF1 is set and the film driving motor 10 is reversed through the motor reversing driving circuit 35. The film is fed in an opposite direction and when the first case retrieval mark is detected by the case mark detector 9, FF1 is reset and the driving signal to the circuit 35 is not fed but the motor 10 is stopped. The brake signal is fed to the brake device via Q' terminal of FF1 and the film is stopped at a head position of the case information.

    • PURPOSE:To permit easy retrieval work by changing the size of the image region projected to a screen cooperatively with the feeding of the film. CONSTITUTION:With an operating knob 30 in an illustrated position, a motor 17 stops and a rotary solenoid 15 is disabled; hence a film 5 stays still and the entire part of the image is projected to the entire surface of a screen S. When the operating knob 30 is rotatively operated manually, the solenoid 15 operates to move a mask 14 and besides, a motor 17 runs. If the rotating angle of the knob 30 is increased, the rotating speed of the motor 17 increases, by which the film 5 is continuously fed and the image is obstructed by the mask 14 as shown in the figure, thus only the portion thereof is projected to the screen S as shown. In this way, whether the information is necessary or not is discriminated from the partial image on the screen S and when it is the necessary information, the knob 30 is turned and the motor 17 is stopped, thence the information is retrieved by the entire image.

    • PURPOSE:To prevent the malfunction of a cutter, by constituting a unit so that the cutter may be operated only when the second operation switch is operated after a timing means is operated for the set time by the operation of the first operation switch after the photographing end. CONSTITUTION:For cutting a film after photographing, the first operation switch 100 is operated first. In this operation, timing means 102 is operated, and capstan roller 35 is rotated through capstan roller driving circuit 107, and the film is fed idly. When the photograph terminal of the film is sent from the position of cutter 45 to a prescribed position, a signal is issued from timing means 102 to set FF103. Then, when the operation of the first operation switch 100 is stopped and the second operation switch 101 is operated, AND gate 104 is opened, and cutter 45 is operated through cutter driving circuit 108. Consequently, the cutting operation is inhibited till the film is fed by a prescribed quantity after photographing, so that the malfunction of the cutter can be prevented.

    • PURPOSE:To prevent the end edges of a sheet material from becoming sharp by making the pressing force of the fixing roller position opposing to the end parts of the sheet material smaller than the pressing force of the fixing roller portion opposing to the other portions. CONSTITUTION:Now, when the copying paper S which carries toner powder images is fed toward between fixing rollers 1, 2, first a copying paper detector 11 detects the copying paper and generates a signal. This signal causes a lower fixing roller 2 to move upward and be pressure contacted to an upper fixing roller 1 under the specified pressure. As the rollers are pressure contacted, an arm detector 10 detects an arm and generates a signal. By this signal, the revolution of a braking shaft 5 is blocked to stop a pressing motor 7. The position of the copying paper detector 11 is so set that the fixing rollers 1, 2 are pressure contacted right after the leading end part of the copying paper S comes out to the outlet side between the fixing rollers. Hence, sharpening of the leading end edges of the copying paper may be prevented. In this way, sharpening of the end edges of the sheet material may be prevented.
