    • A method is provided to purify the contaminated soil or water within a short time without less affecting the environment by adding an oxidizer and/or a reductant to contaminated soil or water containing PAHs(Poly Aromatic Hydrocarbons) and irradiating electromagnetic waves onto the mixture. A method for purifying a material contaminated with PAHs(Poly Aromatic Hydrocarbons) comprises the steps of: adding an oxidizer, a reductant, or a mixture thereof to a material containing PAHs(Poly Aromatic Hydrocarbons); and irradiating electromagnetic waves onto the mixture to decompose the PAHs(Poly Aromatic Hydrocarbons). The oxidizer is hydrogen peroxide or superphosphate. The reductant is at least one of an ion-based reductant of FeCl2 or Fe metal, NaH2PO4, or Na2S. The electromagnetic waves are irradiated onto the material after sealing a material to which the oxidizer or the reductant is added, and which contains the PAHs(Poly Aromatic Hydrocarbons). The electromagnetic waves have a frequency of 2000 to 3000 MHz. The material containing PAHs(Poly Aromatic Hydrocarbons) is soil or water.

    • A method for extracting chlorine organic compound contained in the water is provided to carry out the extraction in a short time with improved extraction efficiency by using a water-soluble adsorption agent. A method for extracting chlorine organic compound contained in the water includes the steps of oxidizing cokes powder by adding oxygenated water to the cokes powder and filtering to recover the cokes powder. An NaOH solution is added to the cokes powder for alkaline treatment. The result is filtered and recovered to form a water-soluble adsorption agent. 0.0001-0,001we% of the water-soluble adsorption agent is added to a subject water and the mixture is stirred. A cationic organic cohesive agent is added to the subject water and stirred, a weight of the cationic organic cohesive agent is 25-30 times of the weight of the water-soluble adsorption agent. A sample adsorbing chlorine organic compound is cohered. The subject water is filtered to recover the sample.

    • PURPOSE: A method for promptly detecting dioxin is provided for accomplishing higher detection limit and correct quantification of dioxin with inexpensive gas chromatography/electron detection device by using antimony chloride to chlorinate dioxin isomers into dioxin octa-chloride. CONSTITUTION: The detection method comprises adding antimony chloride to an extract containing dioxin and heating it to 236-288 deg.C. to produce dioxin octa-chloride; adding HCl to the obtained dioxin octa-chloride to extract hexane material; removing high polar interference material; and detecting dioxin from the extract by means of gas chromatography/electron capturing detector. The method is useful for detecting the dioxin without alternately separating isomers because of the chlorination process and with no requiring commercial pre-treatment step separating isomers.
