    • A data transmitting method using repetitive coding in a wireless communication system is provided to improve the performance of the channel decoding by uniformizing a probability distribution of an input value of a channel decoder. An original codeword is generated by channel-coding information bits. At least one repetition codeword repeating the original codeword is interleaved. The codeword interleaved with the original codeword is transmitted. The original codeword and the repetition codeword are mapped to the plurality of data symbols. The bits of the repetition codeword corresponding to the bits of the original codeword are interleaved to be mapped to the different data symbol. The bits of the repetition codeword corresponding to the bits of the original codeword are interleaved to belong in the bit group with different error generation probability.

    • An interleaving method in a wireless communication system is provided to secure flexibility in designing a turbo encoder by excluding a separate table for parameters for interleaving. A turbo encoder(300) includes a first constituent encoder(310), a second constituent encoder(320), and an internal interleaver(330). The first constituent encoder receives information bits, and outputs first parity bits. The internal interleaver interleaves the information bits. The second constituent encoder receives bits outputted in the internal interleaver, and outputs second parity bits. The internal interleaver interleaves the information bits by using a fixing parameter and a circulation parameter.

    • A method for transmitting data using HARQ is provided to improve efficiency of retransmission data by transmitting and changing a modulation order of the retransmission data based on the modulation order applied to the initial data. A first bit stream about a codeword is transmitted. A second bit stream is transmitted according to the retransmission request about the codeword. The modulation order smaller than the modulation order applied to the first bit stream is applied to the second bit stream according to the retransmission number. The modulation order is determined by the number of sub-channels allocated according to the retransmission number. The code word is comprised of a systematic bit and at least one parity bit by applying a turbo code.
