摘要： A retransmission apparatus is provided that uses a packet method for a DMB service and includes: a DMB receiver for receiving DMB data from a medium; a DMB transmission mode release unit that outputs an MPEG-2 TS by releasing a DMB transmission mode in the DMB data received from the DMB receiver; a channel information extractor that extracts channel information contained in a Fast Information Channel (FIC) of the DMB data in the DMB transmission mode release process of the DMB transmission mode release unit; a data information extractor that receives the MPEG-2 TS from the DMB transmission mode release unit and extracts data information indicating a location of an elementary stream from the received MPEG-2 TS; a channel information database (DB) that stores the channel information extracted by the channel information extractor and the data information extracted by the data information extractor as channel data; a first IP streamer that IP-streams the MPEG-2 TS output from the data information extractor; and a second IP streamer that IP-streams the channel data stored in the channel information DB.

The device includes a parser for receiving residential Ethernet data from external other node devices, and parsing the received Ethernet data as synchronous data and asynchronous data. An asynchronous switch switches and transmits the parsed asynchronous data. A synchronous switch switches and transmits the parsed synchronous data. A multiplexer is connected with the asynchronous switch and the synchronous switch, and multiplexes the asynchronous and synchronous data. A synchronous data band assignment unit for, by the count of a counter, indicating synchronous data bandwidth information determined from a synchronous data bandwidth reservation process, and transmitting the indicated bandwidth information to the multiplexer, thereby determining a multiplex position for synchronous data transmission.

摘要： Disclosed is a broadcast splitter enabling a selective transmission in real time. The broadcast splitter divides one multi-program transport stream (MPTS), which is obtained by multiplexing motion picture expert group-2 transport streams (MPEG-2TSs), into several single program transport streams (SPTSs). In particular, the broadcast splitter for MPEG-2TSs has a function of selecting a desired SPTS by performing a switching operation with respect to an MPTS in real-time without storing the MPTS when the MPTS is split into several SPTSs. Accordingly, it is possible to transmit MPTS signals in real time because desired TSs are extracted and delivered to output ports in real time by using a broadcast switch without storing the MPTS signals in a storage unit such as a RAM.

The method includes: setting a search region in an input picture input to the multimedia mobile terminal on a screen picture-to-screen picture basis, and extracting a group of boundary of a region-of-interest based on a brightness difference between the set search region and an environment around the set search region; determining boundary coordinates of the region-of-interest through learning during a predetermined frame among the extracted group of boundary coordinate candidates; and enlarging the region-of-interest having the determined boundary coordinates, and displaying the enlarged region-of-interest. As a result, a region the user is most interested in or pays more attention to than other regions on a screen is automatically extracted. Accordingly, it is possible for users to view pictures in such an efficient manner as to provide the users with an even better experience and understanding during viewing.

Information about center coordinates as well as a size of a face of the user object is extracted from a moving picture frame. Edges are extracted from the moving picture frame, and a boundary of a head of the user object is estimated using a semicircle. The boundaries of left and right shoulders and left and right arms of the user object are estimated using second-order function graphs that overlap a largest portion of the edges. An entire contour of the user object is estimated according to the boundaries of the head, the left and right shoulders, and the left and right arms of the user object.
