摘要： A recording medium and method and apparatus for reproducing and recording text subtitle streams are disclosed. Each text subtitle stream includes a dialog style segment defining a set of region styles and at least one dialog presentation segment, each of which contains one or more regions of dialog text. Each region of dialog text is linked to one of the set of region styles defined in the dialog style segment, and includes at least one pair of an inline style and a text string. The inline style is configured to change one of region presentation properties specified by the linked region style for the text string.

摘要： A method and apparatus for reproducing data from a recording medium using a local storage is disclosed. A method and apparatus for downloading data associated with the recording medium from an external part, and reproducing the downloaded data is disclosed. A binding unit combined with the recording medium from among the downloaded data of the local storage is formed, and is combined with files of the recording medium using the binding information, such that the virtual package is formed. Data of the recording medium and/or data of the local storage are reproduced by the virtual package. If a specific file contained in the binding unit is equal to a specific file contained in the recording medium when the virtual package is formed, priority is assigned to the file of the binding unit so that the virtual package is formed. Therefore, data of the recording medium and data of the local storage can be effectively reproduced at the same time, resulting in greater convenience of a user.

摘要： A mobile communication terminal for removing noise in a transmitting signal and a method thereof are provided. The mobile communication terminal includes a first microphone for capturing a voice signal to be transmitted a second microphone attached to a position different from the first microphone to capture sound signals, an amplifier for amplifying the sound signals of the second microphone, a codec for separately converting the amplified sound signals of the second microphone and the voice signal of the first microphone to digital sound data, and a controller for analyzing the converted digital sound data and controlling a gain of the first microphone if a repeated pattern is detected in either of the separated digital sound data. Herein, noise generated in sound signals for transmission in a phone call is removed by using two microphones.

The preloaded text subtitle stream includes a dialog style segment and a plurality of dialog presentation segments. The dialog style segment defines a group of region styles and palette information. Each dialog presentation segment contains at least one region of dialog text, where each region of dialog text is linked to a selected one of the group of region styles defined in the dialog style segment. A text subtitle decoder reads a palette update flag included in each dialog presentation segment and presents each dialog presentation segment according to an indication of the palette update flag. The palette update flag indicates whether to use the palette information defined in the dialog style segment or to use new palette information when presenting each dialog presentation segment.

The audiovisual data and the set of the additional data are retrieved using the location information specifying a location of the set of the additional data and the reference information being assigned to the audiovisual data, and the audiovisual data and the associated additional data are reproduced.
