摘要： A demountable modular wall system including a series of individual glass panels that can be positioned adjacent to each other. Each of the individual glass panels is supported by a panel height adjustment mechanism that allows the height of each side of the glass panel to be adjusted. Each wall panel includes an upper trim section that is stationary relative to the movable glass panels. Each of the individual glass panels can include a stiffening channel to reinforce the vertical side edges of the glass panel. A vertical trim section can be attached to cover the panel joint between adjacent glass panels. A sliding door track can be attached to the top end of the wall panel to support a sliding door.

Each frame section includes a lower base section, an upright, and a furniture component support member extending from the upright and to which the furniture component is mounted. The frame sections are preferably C-shaped when viewed from the side. In one form, the furniture component is a seat mounted to the furniture component support, and the frame structure includes a back support area extending upwardly from the seat. A back is mounted to the back support area. In another form, the furniture component is a desk or table top mounted to the furniture component support. Combination desk/chair units may also be constructed utilizing the same basic frame structure.

摘要： A space dividing system includes a column and a series of partition panels adapted for interconnection with the column. The column includes an internal passage, and is adapted to receive wiring from a building for supplying power to a receptacle arrangement interconnected with the column. Adjacent panels are connected to the column at spaced locations, and the receptacle arrangement is exposed between the adjacent panels. The column includes a structural skeleton to which the receptacle arrangement is mounted, and a series of covers are releasably engaged with the structural skeleton for finishing the aesthetic appearance of the column. An adjustable height mounting arrangement is interconnected with the upper end of the column for connection to a ceiling to stabilize the upper end of the column. Each panel is in the form of a frame defining an opening within which a core is received. Cover members are releasably engageable with the frame members, and overlie the core so as to releasably maintain the core in position within the opening. End caps are mounted to upper and lower ends of the side frame members, and are utilized to mount various connectors to the panels for interconnecting the panels together and for providing stacking of panels on top of each other.

摘要： A system for creating an enclosed room, such as an office, in an open space that has a floor and a ceiling. The system includes a support frame that is self-supported on the floor of the open space. The support frame includes a series of head rails supported by a series of vertical columns resting on the floor. The vertical columns support a series of wall panels and the head rails support a ceiling such that the ceiling is supported by the support frame independent of the wall panels. The ceiling of the enclosed room is created by a series of ceiling panels and at least one air intake panel and at least one air exhaust panel. The air exhaust panel includes an exhaust fan that removes air from within the enclosed room and draws fresh air into the enclosed room. The ceiling can include a plurality of adjustable louvers and lighting.

摘要： A table leg assembly for supporting a table top. The table leg assembly includes a leg member having a lower end that defines an open interior. A tube end insert is received within the open interior at the lower end of each of the leg members. 摘要： A classroom chair includes a seat and a backrest, where the chair facilitates a wide variety of uses by an occupant. The backrest includes a center section and a pair of armrest sections that extend from the center section. The pair of armrest sections and center section each include a utility surface located in a plane parallel to a seating plane. Each of the armrest sections includes a lower edge positioned above the lowermost portion of the center section, which allows the occupant's legs to be located beneath the armrest sections. In one embodiment, the classroom chair includes a base having four legs. In another embodiment, the base includes two legs joined to a support frame have four stub legs. At least one of the legs extends rearward past the backrest such that the base provides required support for the occupant when the occupant's weight is supported by the backrest.
