    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a means for simply and inexpensively excavating ground around a prefabricated pile so as to cut the head of the prefabricated pile, without disturbing the ground.
      SOLUTION: An excavating auger 10 for cutting the prefabricated pile comprises a hollow shaft 11 which is externally fitted to a steel pipe pile 1, and excavating blades 12 and 13. In the excavating blades 12 and 13, a disk, wherein a hole 15 with a diameter almost equal to that of the hollow shaft 11 is drilled in the center and which is radially cut from the hole 15, is protrusively provided on the outer periphery of the vicinity of the leading end of the hollow shaft 1 in such a manner that a cut end 16 is separated with a predetermined pitch in the direction of penetration. The excavating auger 10 is made to rotatively penetrate the periphery of the steel pipe pile 1, and pulled out without turning so that the ground around the steel pipe pile 1 can be excavated.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a means for excavating the ground around a prefabricated pile simply and inexpensively so as to cut a head of the prefabricated pile without disturbing the ground.
      SOLUTION: This excavating auger 100 for preexcavation comprises: an excavating auger 10 for a cutting hole, wherein excavating blades 11 and 12 for the cutting hole having a diameter larger than an outside diameter of a steel pipe pile 1 to be driven are provided in such a manner as to protrude to the radial outside from a rotating shaft 13 for the cutting hole; and an excavating auger 20 for a guide hole, which is provided at the leading end of the excavating auger 10 in a concentrically elongated manner, and wherein an excavating blade 21 for the guide hole having a diameter approximately equal to the outside diameter of the spiral blade 3 of the steel pipe pile 1 is provided in such a manner as to protrude to the radial outside from a rotating shaft 22 for the guide hole. The excavating auger 100 is made to rotatively penetrate a pile core position C and pulled out in an unrotated manner, so that the cutting hole and the guide hole can be concurrently preexcavated.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a welding device for steel pipe piles which is excellent in flexibility and capable of welding the steel pipe piles of various outer diameters by one device.
      SOLUTION: In the welding device 1 for steel pipe piles, a freely detachable annular guide rail 2 is mounted on an outer circumferential face close to the joint portion Ka between steel pipe piles K1 and K2 which are vertically joined. There is provided a self-advancing stand 3 which travels by itself with a wheel 3d along the guide rail 2. The self-advancing stand 3 is fitted with a welder 4 facing the joint portion Ka so that the joint portion Ka can be welded continuously by means of the welder 4 traveling along the guide rail 2. An auxiliary stand 3a equipped with a wheel 3d is mounted on the self-advancing stand 3 so that the rotation axes of the respective wheels 3d intersect on the welding side, and the self-advancing stand 3 and the auxiliary stand 3a are linked by a coupling 3c so that the intersection angle θ is changeable. The self-advancing stand 3 can travel along the guide rail 2 having curvatures matching with the steel pipe piles of different diameters by changing the intersection angle θ.

      SOLUTION: This coral larva-adhering base comprises a porous foamed glass body 1 which is produced by finely crushing glass cullet in an average particle diameter range of about 5 to 100μm, adding 0.5 to 5.0 wt. % of a foaming agent to the obtained fine glass particles, and then retaining the mixture at 700 to 980°C for about 25 min to sinter the mixture, and has an average pore size of about 0.5 mm. In the foamed glass body 1, the pores having various shapes and sizes, round broken pieces produced by bursting at high temperature, and the like, are irregularly formed and distributed. Thereby, various three-dimensional adhesion regions corresponding to the individually delicately different sizes, shapes, aptitudes, and the like, of the coral larvae are obtained.
