摘要： To provide a hard coating film and a display device which are enhanced in feeling of uniformity of designability between a display area of a display and an area therearound and which are according to a new design concept. A smoke hard coating film 100 including at least a hard coating layer 21 containing a curing resin and a colorant dispersed in the curing resin, and a print layer 41 for partition and formation of a frame area FA and a display area DA disposed in the frame area FA in planar view, and having a total light transmittance (according to JIS K7361-1) of the display area DA, of 0.5% or more and less than 75%, is used in a display device 200 provided with a light-emitting display D. A difference (|RDA-RF|) between a reflectance of the display area DA (RDA) at 550 nm in a SCI mode and a reflectance of the frame area FA (RFA) at 550 nm in the SCI mode in turn off of the display is 5% or less in a state where the smoke hard coating film 100 is provided on the display surface.

In a light-blocking member (1) comprising a substrate (11) and a light-blocking membrane (21) provided on at least one surface of this substrate (11), the light-blocking membrane (21) containing an ultraviolet curable resin as a binder resin and containing a black pigment as a filler dispersed in this binder resin is employed. The light-blocking membrane (21) preferably further contains photo- and/or thermal polymerization initiators. In addition, the content of the filler in the light-blocking membrane (21) is preferably 10% by mass or more and 60% by mass or less in terms of solids based on all resin components contained in the light-blocking membrane (21).

摘要： Provided is a method for producing a light-blocking material for optical devices which is provided with a light-blocking coat achieving low gloss while maintaining the necessary physical properties of a light-blocking coat, i.e. a light-blocking property, even when the light-blocking coat is formed extremely thinly. In the method for producing the light-blocking material for optical devices which is provided with the light-blocking coat, a coating liquid including at least a binder resin, black microparticles, and a dye is prepared. A dye including a metal such as chrome oxide, iron oxide, or cobalt oxide is preferably used as the dye. The coating liquid is subsequently applied to a base material, and dried to form the light-blocking coat.

The anti-Newton ring sheet can be utilized for an optical film having an anti-Newton ring property by providing an optical function layer such as a light diffusing layer on the surface opposite to the anti-Newton ring layer.
