摘要： A ball joint includes a pair of generally hemispheric head members (13, 15) including facing surfaces (14, 17). A bearing member (18) is disposed between the facing surfaces (14, 17). One of the haed members (13) is connected to a ball stud (11), the other includes a shank hole (16) through which the ball stud (11) passes. Both head members (13, 15) are enclosed in a ball seat (28) which is deformed into conformity with a generally spherical outer surface of the combined first and second head members (13, 15) by a socket (23) that is formed about them. An elastic member (34) between the socket (23) and the ball seat (28) applies an axial force to said first and second head members (13, 15) , whereby a substantial preload on the ball joint permits take-up of wear during use.

摘要： Provided is a ball joint in which a dust cover is fixed to a socket by a retaining ring and which has an improved waterproofing performance at a fitting region where the dust cover is fitted onto the socket. A ball joint 100 has a dust cover 140 fitted onto the outer periphery of a socket 120 formed into the shape of a cylinder with a bottom. The socket 120 has a dust cover groove 125 into which a socket fitting portion 141 of the dust cover 140 is fitted, and a dust cover receiving surface 126 for supporting a socket facing surface 143 of the dust cover 140. The dust cover receiving surface 126 inclines toward the socket facing surface 143 while extending from the outer side toward the inner side. Radial projections 142 are formed on the inner peripheral surface of the socket fitting portion 141 of the dust cover 140. Also, an axial projection 145 projecting toward the dust cover receiving surface 126 is formed on the socket facing surface 143 of the dust cover 140.

摘要： A ball joint which is capable of ensuring the retention strength to resist a force tending to pull out or pry out a ball portion of a ball stud while ensuring sealing performance of the dust cover is provided. A ball joint 100 includes a bearing seat in the form of a resin ball seat 130 which is provided within a seat-accommodating portion 121 of a metal socket 120 for slidably and rotatably receiving a ball portion 113 of a ball stud 110. The seat-accommodating portion 121 is formed such that its end portion through which the stud portion 111 passes extends towards the stud portion 111 beyond the spherical center O of the ball portion 114. The ball seat 130 has a covering portion 133 formed on the outer side of a seat opening portion 132 of a ball-accommodating portion 131 which has a spherical shape in conformity to a sliding surface 114a of the ball portion 114 of the ball stud 110. The covering portion 133 is formed by bending the seat opening portion 132 such that it covers the outer periphery of the opening portion of the seat-accommodating portion 121 of the socket 120.

摘要： There is provided a rotary damper capable of reducing manufacturing cost.
The present invention is a rotary damper comprising: partition walls 3 that partition a space formed between a rotor 2 and a housing 1 for housing the rotor 2 to form fluid chambers filled with fluid; and vanes 4 provided in the fluid chamber, and is characterized by integrally forming the housing 1 and the partition walls 3 by press working. Therefore, according to the present invention, it is possible to reduce the weight of a product and to reduce manufacturing cost by a large amount as compared with a conventional casting method such as zinc die casting.
