    • A fan module and a fan rail thereof are provided. The fan module includes a fan, two fan rails, and a holder. The fan rails are disposed at both sides of the fan, in which each fan rail includes a main body and a ring, the main body has a first end and a sliding slot. The sliding slot is located at the first end. Each ring has a tab portion and a connecting portion, wherein the connecting portion has a protrusion buckled in the sliding slot. The fan is disposed in the holder by means of the fan rails, and a force is applied on the tab portion to make the protrusion slip in the sliding slot so that the ring suits to move back and forth on a longitudinal direction of the main body relatively to the main body so as to detach the fan from the holder.

    • Embodiments for a slider mounting module suitable for mounting a KVM assembly to a server rack are provided. In one embodiment, the slider mounting module includes a front rack mount and a back rack mount which are configured to couple together and be secured to a server rack.     • A console KVM module includes a main base, a flat panel display module and a torsion-varying hinge. A torsion-varying hinge links the flat panel display module with the main base such that the flat panel display module can fold against or unfold away from the main base. The torsion-varying hinge mainly comprises a fixed part, a swiveled part, a shaft and a torsion part. The fixed part is secured to the main base. The swiveled part is secured to the flat panel display module. The swiveled part is pivotally connected with the fixed part by the shaft. A torsion part is disposed around the shaft and engaged in the fixed part and the swiveled part at two ends, wherein the torsion part provides an assisting torsion while folding and unfolding the flat panel display module.

    • A shallow trench isolation (STI) structure for semiconductor devices is formed using a deposited silicon layer formed over a polish stop layer formed over an oxide formed on a substrate. The polish stop layer may be nitride. An opening is formed extending through the deposited silicon layer and the nitride and oxide layers and extending into the substrate. A deposited oxide is formed filling the opening and extending over the top surface of deposited silicon layer. A chemical mechanical polishing operation polishes the deposited silicon layer at a rate faster than the deposited oxide layer to produce an STI with a convex portion extending above the nitride layer. Dishing problems are avoided and the structure may be subsequently planarized.

    • Verifying dynamically generated operations on a data store includes carrying out setup actions for access to the data store, the setup actions being based at least in part on a request for which the dynamically generated operations will be generated. The carrying out of setup actions includes permissions being set for portions of the data store to establish a restricted portion of the data store and an unrestricted portion of the data store, as well as using one or more additional techniques to check whether any unexpected changes were made to the unrestricted portion or to lock access to parts of the unrestricted portion. After the dynamically generated operations are performed, a verification is made that no unexpected work was performed by the dynamically generated operations. If unexpected work was performed then the operations are determined to be not correct for the request.
