    • A method can include initiating an iterative execution of a distributed memory program over multiple numbers of task nodes in a computer cluster, wherein each task node comprises a computing device. The method can also include changing an available bandwidth value of an interconnect of the computer cluster over a range of available bandwidths values. The method can further include measuring a completion time for execution of the distributed memory program for each change to the available bandwidth value and each change in the number of task nodes. The method can still further include storing an average demand constant in a non-transitory machine readable medium for the distributed memory program. The average demand constant can correspond to a completion time increment (CTI) for each change of the available bandwidth value and each of the multiple numbers of task nodes.

    • Techniques are provided for price, completion time, and resource allocation determination for cloud services. A system for the same can include a request engine to continuously receive requests for cloud services from a plurality of users of a cloud system and an input engine to receive a plurality of parameters relating to the requested cloud services from at least one of each of the plurality of users and a provider of the cloud system. The system can include an output engine to determine a plurality of variables relating to each of the requested cloud services using the plurality of parameters and a mixed integer programming solver and a menu engine to generate a cloud service menu in response to each of the continuously received requests to be offered to the plurality of users, the cloud service menu defining prices, and associated completion times for each of the requested cloud services.
