Entre la ligne de pincement K des cylindres delivreurs (8, 8a) et la lance a effleurement (12) du cylindre delivreur (8) un cylindre de deflection (15) du tissu est entrainer dans le meme sens de rotation que le cylindre delivreur (8). Le dispositif de deflection du tissu (15) est dispose dans le voisinage du passage libre normal de tissu (9a) et ramene un tissu (9b) qui peut coller au cylindre delivreur (8) a sa position normale de passage (9a) tout en enlevant du tissu (9b) les impuretes a l'aide de sa surface cylindrique. 摘要： Textile machinery comprising a card having a main swift and a member which is a working cylinder or a comb, juxtaposed to the main swift and having a shaft. The distance between the main swift and the shaft is adjustable by providing a support for the shaft, the support being mounted on and for movement relative to a frame of the card. A gauge holder against which the support is adapted to bear, has a plurality of rotated positions in each of which the gauge holder imparts to the support a different position, in each of which different positions the shaft is at a different distance from the main swift. A fluid pressure jack applies the support to the gauge holder. The gauge holder is rotated by a ratchet and pawl assembly actuated by another fluid pressure jack. The gauge holder has a plurality of gauges thereon radiating in different directions therefrom, those gauges being of different lengths and being selectively engageable with the support.

摘要： A randomizing web former is provided for producing webs with greater degrees of isotropy than heretofore by including both a carding element, such as a worker roll or a carding segment, and an aerodynamic, centrifugal randomizing web former, employing a jamming action and then free flight of the web to randomize, both on the same toothed cylinder. Usually, the fibrous flock is worked into an array of axially parallel fibers by an assemblage of sequentially arranged carding cylinders and cooperating carding elements such as carding worker rolls and or stationary carding segments similar to flats but of complementary arcuity to the cylinders. Thereupon the web is moved to a toothed roll having both a carding element and a web former either in that sequence or combined so as to act sequentially or concurrently. The resultant randomized web is then doffed.
