    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a furry fabric which has a three-dimensional pattern with higher designability as compared with the conventional pile fabrics, and which avoids excessive workload in processing. SOLUTION: The furry fabric is provided over the whole area thereof with a multiplicity of folded portions 4 produced by pinching appropriate portions of backside base cloth 2 of pile fabric 1 with a given width and maintaining the configurations of the pinched portions by locking pins or other mechanical locking means, or an adhesive, or hot melt adhesion. In the furry fabric, by the folded portions 4, mutual interfaces of concavo-convex configurations, such as those between concave portion 6 depressed in such a fashion that pile portions 3 face each other and convex portions 7, 7 lying on both sides thereof and between concave portion 6 and, continuing from the convex portions 7, 7, concave portion 9, convex portions 10, 10, etc., occur on the top side of the fabric. When the pile fabric 1 is bent, the concavo-convex configurations are changed and simultaneously the colored design pattern applied to the pile portions is also changed. Thus, extremely novel, unprecedented, interesting three-dimensional patterns can be exhibited.
