    • PURPOSE: To change the output of an inertia circuit and to prevent phase detection error, by forecasting discontinuous phase through the movement of ±2n from a circuit which detects the movement from a present playback track number 0 to the track number of ±2n (where; n is an integer).
      CONSTITUTION: A video signal applied to an input terminal 1 is separated into a horizontal synchronizing signal H and a burst signal SB at the synchronizing separation circuit 2. An AFC3 produces a horizontal scanning signal fH and chrominance subcarrier wave f
      sc from a synchronizing signal H. An APC4 produces a subcarrier wave f'
      sc through phase matching with the signal SB. A subcarrier wave read-in circuit 5 reads in high or low of the subcarrier wave f'
      sc in the timing of one wave of the signal SB. The horizontal scanning signal fH is multiplied by 1/2 at a magnification device 8 and outputted at an output terminal 9. When a detection signal B in ±2n is applied to a control terminal 11 from a VTR, the phase of output of the magnifier 8 is inverted, the output signal is changed as C
      2 , and error due to discontinuous phase can be prevented.
