    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify a microwave generating device by providing a first grid having multiple holes for controlling and focusing the electron flow from a cathode on a heating element and a first secondary electron emission decreasing means, a choke structure, an input cavity, a bias voltage resistor, a second grid, an anode having a second secondary electron emission decreasing means and an output cavity. SOLUTION: Part of the electrons from a cathode 120 on a heater 110 are converted into electron beams by the holes 135 of a first grid 130 and reach an anode 150 through the holes 145 of a second grid 140. The electron beams accelerated by the electric field between the input cavity 170 of a resonance circuit formed with the first grid 130 induced with a bias voltage, a choke structure 160 serving as a blocking capacitor and the cathode 120 and an output cavity 180 formed with the second grid 140 and the anode 150 are outputted as microwaves. No magnet is required, and a metal film is provided on the first grid 130 and multiple projections are provided on the anode 150 to decrease the emission of secondary electrons impairing the electron flow.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify a structure by providing a first grid arranged on a cathode on a heating element and having multiple holes for controlling and focusing the flow of electrons, a choke structure serving as a blocking capacitor, the input cavity of a resonance circuit, a bias voltage applying resistor, a second grid, an anode, an output cavity and a microwave feedback structure. SOLUTION: When a heater 110 is turned on, part of the electrons from an upper cathode 120 are converted into electron beams by the holes 135 of a first grid 130 and reach an anode 150 through the holes 145 of a second grid 140. The residual electrons are density-converted by an input cavity 170 formed with the first grid 130 induced with a bias voltage, a choke structure 160 having metal films on both side faces of a metal plate and an insulation section and the cathode 120. The electron beams accelerated by the electric field between the input cavity 170 and an output cavity 180 formed with the second grid 140 and the anode 150 are outputted by an antenna 155 as microwaves. Multiple magnets are not required.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stably and continuously generate microwaves with different amplitudes by feeding back a part of the energy of an output cavity to an input cavity, and effectively focusing and controlling electron beams via the combination of a first grid and a second grid. SOLUTION: The space constituted of a cathode 120, a first grid 130 and a choke structure 160 forms an input cavity and functions as a resonance circuit. A second grid 140 having multiple holes is located on the first grid 130 controlling and focusing the flow of electrons emitted from the cathode 120, and the second grid 140 and an anode 150 function as an output cavity 180. A rod-shaped feedback structure 190 functioning as a resonance circuit is formed between the input cavity 170 and the output cavity 180. The kinetic energy of the electrons density-converted by the input cavity 170 is converted into microwaves by the output cavity 180 and is outputted to a cooking chamber via an antenna 155.

    • PURPOSE:To improve efficiency of gyrotron by dividing the power supply into a plurality of sections and then applying voltages through respective particular load to a magnetron type electrun gun of gyrotron apparatus which uses an annular arcuate mirror as a resonator. CONSTITUTION:A gyrotron apparatus is formed by a magnetron type electron gun 20, coils 21a-21e for applying magnetic field to electron beam 19, a resonator 23 which quasioptically resonates and amplifies electromagnetic wave 22 generated in this case and a transmission part 24. In this case, the negative side of power supply 58 is divided into two systems and the first system is connected to the cathode 50 and anode 51 of the first electron gun 47 through a load 60 and a variable resistor 61, while the second system to the cathode 53 and anode 55 of the second electron gun 48 through a load 62 and variable resistor 63 for operations. Therefore, the loads 60, 62 are formed in combination with a resistor, an inductance and a capacitor and efficiency can be optimized by controlling operations of electron guns 47, 48.
