摘要： PURPOSE:To use a stoppage time measuring and displaying device for regulation of nuisance parking and illegal parking by utilizing the holder of a side mirror mounted on the outside of an automobile to successively measure stoppage time and forcedly display it. 摘要： PURPOSE:To use the recording capacity of a recording medium effectively by using two bytes when the number of samples is small, and recording speed data compressed by using three bytes only when the number of samples increases. CONSTITUTION:When a vehicle travels, a pulse signal which is generated by a rotation sensor 1 is supplied to a CPU 21. The CPU 21 measures the instanta neous speed with specific resolution at intervals of sampling time predetermined with set value data stored in a RAM 21b according to the input pulses, compresses measured speed data according a permissible difference predeter mined with set value data, and writes the result on the recording medium 2. The CPU 21 records the speed data in binary notation by using a 1st byte and part of a 2nd byte and the number of samples by using the rest of the 2nd byte, and also records high-order digits indicating the number of samples as a 3rd byte when the binary number indicating the number of samples is too large to record in the 2nd byte.
