    • A seat attachment for attachment to the side of a desk has a retractable support arm with a seat at one end that is movable between a stored position closely adjacent to the side of the desk and an outwardly extended deployed position to provide an auxiliary seating surface. In a first embodiment, the support arm is slidably received in a generally rectangular outer housing secured horizontally to the side of the desk, and is movable relative thereto between a stored position within the outer housing and an outwardly extended position disposed horizontally a distance above the surface of a floor. In a second embodiment, a support arm is pivotally connected to a generally rectangular outer housing secured vertically to the side of the desk, and is movable relative thereto between a stored position within the outer housing and an outwardly pivoted extended position disposed horizontally a distance above the surface of a floor. In both embodiments, a support leg member is pivotally connected with the support arm and movable relative thereto between a stored position within the support arm and an outwardly extended vertical position generally perpendicular to the support arm.

    • A child's seat is especially adapted for mobile use in an aircraft. The seat has a support frame which can be fixed by a belt. A seat pan (9) and a back pan (10) are fixed to the support frame in an articulated manner. The lateral lower ends of the back pan (10) are displaceably accommodated in lateral guiding elements (15) of the support frame. The back pan can be fixed in an upright position by a fixing device and can be displaced in the guiding elements of the support frame once the fixing device has been released. The seat pan can be folded against the back pan and can be made of two pieces. The child's seat can be folded in a compact manner and can be packed in an aircraft in a space-saving manner. The child's seat can especially be used in a conventional passenger set in or against the flying direction.

    • A vehicle seat has a tether anchor disposed on a rear surface of a seatback to which a hook on an upper end of a child's seat is engaged for fixing of an upper portion of the child's seat. The vehicle seat has a seatback frame to which the tether anchor is fixed. The tether anchor is covered with a cover formed with a notch along a track of the hook in a locking operation so that a substantial part of the tether anchor is covered with the cover except a portion of the tether anchor on which the hook is locked. This will improve external appearance of the vehicle seat and avoid deterioration of loading ability of the vehicle seat and comfortability of an occupant in the vehicle.

    • A child seat has an upper base section (1) and a lower base section (201) for changing an inclination angle between these base sections. The upper base section 1 and the lower base section (201) are journaled rotatably about a common journal axis (201A) at the front portion of the base. At a rear end side, an inclination angle changing mechanism (200) is installed for adjusting a spacing between the upper base section (1) and the lower base section (201) opposite the journal axis (201A). This structure provides a child seat allowing adjustment of the angle of inclination of a support surface supporting a child even if the child supporting surface extends lengthwise of a passenger car seat to which the base formed by the two base sections 1 and 201, is attached. This leveling of the child supporting surface is possible if the child seat (2) is rotatable about a vertical axis relative to its base.
