摘要： In developing apparatus for wet treatment of photographic recording materials, a trough in which a rotatable drum defining a support for the recording material is immersed in developer liquid is provided with two inlet orifices which are spaced apart so as to admit the desired liquid in two opposite flows at substantially uniform concentration and temperature of the developer liquid throughout the trough. The liquid is pumped to the second inlet orifice by a circulating pump, preferably mounted on the trough, through a branch pipe. The trough is preferably tippable and the branch pipe flexible. The trough may be longitudinally subdivided by a partition provided with a further inlet orifice.

The top tray being three-sided and normally supported in an overlying position to the compartment containing the solution when in use with the open side of the top tray draining into the drainage compartment and being inclined to continuously drain therein. The top tray including a handle to facilitate lifting, and a clamp to secure a sheet element being rinsed. The overlying top tray substantially preventing dilution of the developing or fixing solution as the treated sheet element is being rinsed.

摘要： A developing apparatus for photoconductive materials, is formed of a storage tank for a supply of liquid developer with pigment particles. The developer liquid is pumped through a distributing channel and a calming chamber into an upwardly concave, shallow guide and the level of the developer liquid is determined by an overflow adjacent the outlet end of the guide from where it flows back into the storage tank. To provide nonturbulent supply, the developer flows from the distributing conduit into the guide below the level of liquid within the guide. The overflow or developer liquid outlet is formed by an edge of an upper guide element defining the guide channel. The components of the apparatus fit into one another for ease in assembly.
