    • PURPOSE:To re-start combustion automatically by a method wherein a ventilation checker is provided so that when the fan of the burner is driven and a shortage of ventilation is detected during the combustion of the burner, an electromagnetic valve is closed while the fan is kept operated and when the amount of ventilation becomes surficient, the electromagnetic valve is opened. CONSTITUTION:To operate the burner 3, it is sufficent to ignite the burner after driving the fan 2 and opening the electromagnetic valve 5 and with the combustion of the burner, water is heated through a heat exchanger 4 so as to enable hot water to be supplied. In this case, if a shortage of ventilation takes place due to a rush of wind during the combustion of the burner and the ventilation checker detects it, the electromagnetic valve 5 is closed while the fan 2 is kept operated. Thus, when the amount of ventilation becomes sufficient before long, a signal to open the valve 5 is generated from the ventilation checker to thereby re-start the combustion of the burner. Consequently, when there is no more shortage of ventilation, the combustion of the burner is re-started automatically.

Simultaneously, a differential pressure is produced at the points (a) and (b), and a differential pressure output is generated by a differential pressure sensor 11A. When under this condition, the differential pressure output of the first differential pressure sensor 11 is zero. Meanwhile, it is discriminated by an electromagnetic valve driving circuit 17 incorporating the constant number of revolutions discriminating circuit whether the number of revolutions of a blower 2 is changed with time occasioned by a fluctuation in a constant load, and thereby if the number of revolutions is constant and a differential pressure output from the second differential pressure sensor 11A is produced, it is discriminated from the two conditions that a trouble occurs to the first differential pressure sensor 11, and an electromagnetic valve 16 is shut-off.
