    • A lubrication system for a tool powered by a drive fluid is provided. The lubrication system includes a reservoir configured to deliver a lubricant and a plunger disposed within the reservoir. The plunger is configured to selectively generate a pilot signal based on a level of the lubricant. The lubrication system further includes a valve having a housing. The housing includes a drive fluid inlet and a drive fluid outlet. The valve also includes a pilot spool configured to move from a neutral position to an actuated position in response to the pilot signal. The valve further includes a main spool selectively actuated by a pressure of the drive fluid to move from a first position to a second position in response to the movement of the pilot spool such that in the second position the drive fluid inlet is in fluid communication with the drive fluid outlet.

    • The invention is directed to lubrication of pumps, wherein due to relative space limitations, pumps oriented at various positions are provided sufficient oiling fluid to accommodate lubrication of cylinder surfaces preventing excess wear, such that an expansion tube projecting from and in secured operative communication with the crankcase of the existing pump is such that the tube having a graduated exterior surface is provided. The graduations are oriented in a parallel relationship relative to the axis of the tube and permit ease of viewing of sufficient pump oil volume when such volume is visible via the graduations. The tube provides for a removable cap structure to permit the adding or removal of fluid relative to the pump crank case.

    • A fluid exchange apparatus for the transfer of fluids from a first containment area to a second containment area, including a total fluid reconciliation process, whereby the same amount of fluid transferred from the first containment area to the second containment area is replenished into the first containment area, or is replenished to a preset amount. The fluid exchanger includes an evacuation section having a vacuum pump therein, and a fill section. The fluid being vacated from the first containment area is transferred to the second containment area by vacuum pressure introduced into the first containment area. An air purge is used to drive fluid out of the fluid passages/filters into the first containment area. The pressure may be developed internally to the fluid exchange apparatus or externally thereto. CPU controlled electronics are utilized to measure, monitor, and control, via a user interface screen, the fluid exchange machine.

    • An air line lubricator with safety device for automatically actuating an air actuatable member located outside of the lubricator. The air actuatable member may be a valve which controls a tool, or a signal which indicates that the oil level in the lubricator bowl has fallen below a predetermined level. The lubricator bowl contains oil and pressurized air and an air tube which receives pressurized air from the bowl when the oil level is below a predetermined level. The air tube has a relatively small intake end opening and a relatively wider internal diameter. An oil level controlled member may be a float or a float controlled piston which is movable relatively to said tube opening and is supported by the oil when the oil level is above a predetermined level. The face of the oil level controlled member has mounted thereon a tiltable member for engagement by the air tube open end. A vibration coating is applied to said tiltable member to maintain its sealing engagement with the air tube open end when the oil is above said predetermined level.

    • Disclosed herein is an air line lubricator safety device for automatically actuating an air actuatable member located outside of the lubricator. The air actuatable member may be a normally open air valve in an air line leading to an air operated tool, said air valve being automatically closed when the oil level in the lubricator falls below a predetermined level and thereby prevents operation of the tool; or the air actuatable member may be a signal device such as a whistle or light or other signal automatically air actuated when the oil level in the lubricator falls below a predetermined level. The safety device comprises a lubricator having an oil bowl containing oil and air under pressure, the bowl having a head provided with a piston chamber, a float-controlled piston slidable in the chamber, an air intake passage in the head communicating with the pressurized area region of the bowl and with the piston chamber, and an air oulet tube leading from the piston chamber; said piston moving downwardly in the chamber when the oil supply falls below a predetermined level, thereby permitting pressurized air to flow through the air outlet tube for actuating one of the air actuatable members located outside of the lubricator.
