摘要： Structure and method for assembling a structural frame for use in erecting temporary or permanent structures, which structural frame has a first component having at least one auxiliary elongated web section with an elongated entrance channel opening for allowing insertion into th hollow interior of a coupler component to which is attached a second component. The channel opening defines a wider gap portion through which a coupler component is inserted, and a narrower gap portion that secures the coupler therein thereby attaching the first component to an end of the second component. The first and second components are firmly, yet removable, secured together by first inserting the first wider section of the coupler through the wider gap section of the entrance channel opening of the first component, and then sliding the coupler along the hollow interior of the first component until the wider section is located at and within the narrower gap section of the entrance channel opening of the first component.

摘要： The present invention provides a modular frame assembly (22) for an equipment cabinet having a plurality of members (24) releasably secured together. At least first, second and third frame members (24) are provided, each having a securing tab (48) and an offset securing tab (50) projecting therefrom. A receiving cavity (52, 54) is formed in each of the tabs (48, 50) and a plurality of fasteners (34) are provided which are insertable into the cavities (52, 54) to releasably secure the first, second and third frame members (24) together. This provides a modular frame assembly (22) that allows disassembly of a single frame member (24) by removing two of the fasteners (34) at each corner. The third fastener (34) remains in place and maintains the integrity of the remaining two frame members (24). Additionally, each frame member (24) is preferably a universal member which allows either end to mate with any two other ends.

The sidewalls of the brackets may be used to secure vertical and/or horizontal rails together when assembling a flat pack equipment rack. Additionally, a pair of structural brackets may be secured together by fasteners forming a single bisected structural bracket. The utilization two separate brackets to form a single bisected structural bracket provides for a flat pack solution for equipment racks while being as structurally strong as a traditional, fully welded frame.
