    • Cupels (T;SH), interposed between roof-tiles (1) form a covering (C) structure (SC) of a building, and support a superstructure composed of flat grecque plates (3',3"; 8) fixed with self-threading screws to a particular insulating strip. The cupels assembled in a tilted position with respect to the horizontal, form interspaces (K1, K3; K2, K4; K1', K2') between the grecque plates and insulating panels, whereby : - the accumulation of heat beneath the covering sheets is removed during the summer, with air ventilation the formation of internal condensates is avoided during the winter - fire fumes are expelled through the top slit of the cupels - the internal air exchange through the slit of the cupels is effected by remote control - a diffused lighting is obtained by closing the slit on the tympan cupel with a polycarbonate plate surmounted by a top translucent plate.

    • The invention relates to a ventilation strip (10; 110) for ventilating the eaves, a ridge or an edge of a roof, with at least one section (12; 114, 116) extendable along the ventilation strip (10; 110) which can be fitted to the shape of contoured roofing panels, and a section (14; 112) which is substantially rigid along the ventilation strip (10; 110) and parallel to the first section. The extendable section (12; 114, 116) has elongated holes and/or slots (30) in mutually staggered rows transversely to the ventilation strip (10; 110) and the elongated holes and/or slots (30) in one row are separated by at least one longitudinal web (34) running along the ventilation strip (10; 110). A ventilation strip (10) for the eaves may have apertures (20) for guttering brackets (70) and in a strip (110) for ridges or edges there may be an extendable section (114, 116) on either side of the rigid section (112). The extendable section (114, 116) may be folded in a zigzag with longitudinal fold lines (122, 124, 126, 128). There may ben an air-permeable and/or waterproof material covering (134) extendable longitudinally and transversally at least in the extendable section (12).
