摘要： A freestanding portable partition panel system is provided for open office spaces and the like. Each panel includes a skeleton-like frame having two vertical uprights positioned adjacent opposite side edges thereof, and at least two pairs of horizontal stringers attached to the outer faces of the uprights in a vertically spaced apart relationship to rigidly interconnect the same. One or more horizontal rows of slots are defined in each of the stringers. Cover panels are detachably mounted thereon to provide ready access to the frame. The cover panels permit access to the slots, and special off-module connectors with hooks for engaging the slots are provided for interconnecting adjacent panels in off-module positions. The hooks of the connectors are engaged with selected slots to hold a first partition panel perpendicular to a second partition panel in an off-module position on its face.

摘要： A structural support is provided for use in an internal wall partition assembly, and which is adapted to function in a variety of structural combinations, to thereby permit substantial versatility in the design of the partition assembly while minimizing the number of required structural components. The structural support comprises an elongate back wall, a pair of elongate parallel integral outer flanges, and a pair of elongate parallel integral inner flanges positioned between and parallel to the outer flanges. The inner flanges are spaced in the widthwise direction to accommodate a stud or insulating panel, and each inner flange is spaced from a corresponding outer flange a distance adapted for receiving the edge of a wallboard panel or the like therebetween. Interconnection channel means are formed in the outer flanges for interconnecting a cooperating structural component thereto on one side of the back wall, and second interconnection means may be formed in the back wall which is adapted for interconnecting a cooperating second structural component on the opposite side of the back wall. Further, a spacing extension is provided on the inwardly facing surface of each of the outer flanges for engaging and supporting the wallboard panel in spaced relation thereto, to form a painting or finishing reveal.

The window assembly includes a plurality of connector assemblies that are configured to be connected to a partition frame around an opening through the partition frame. Each connector assembly includes a base structure and at least one movable retainer that is biased towards an engaged position. The window assembly also includes a subframe including two pairs of elongated subframe members having opposite ends that are rigidly interconnected to define a generally rectangular central opening. The subframe further defines oppositely facing inner and outer side faces. The subframe includes a connecting portion protruding away from the inner side face and engaging the movable retainer to connect the subframe to the connector assemblies. The window assembly further includes at least one sheet of light-transmitting material secured to the subframe and extending across the central opening.

摘要： A movable transparent panel for reconfigurable office partitions and the like is adapted for floor-to-ceiling applications which include a floor track shaped to be supported on a floor surface, and a ceiling track shaped to be supported on a ceiling surface. A panel frame is supported in a normally vertical orientation between the floor track and the ceiling track. The panel frame has vertically spaced-apart upper and lower horizontal members with a pair of vertical side members interconnecting the upper and lower horizontal members and extending therebetween to define a generally quadrilateral opening. The upper horizontal member is operably connected to the ceiling track, and the lower horizontal member is operably connected with the floor track. A substantially transparent sheet is removably connected to the frame and extends across at least the portion of the opening. A vertically adjustable support retains the frame at a selected height above the floor track to permit height adjustment and leveling of the frame to account for variations in the floor surface.
