摘要： A device is disclosed that can automatically remove lids from trays and place lids on trays. Further the device can sense the presence of a lid on a tray and can sense the dimensions of the tray. Based on the sensed dimensions of the tray, the device can select an appropriate sized lid to place on the tray. In one embodiment of the invention, a device holds a lid with a lid manipulator having lid holders. At least one end mechanism is attached to at least one end of the lid manipulator, and the end mechanism folds the lid flaps of an appropriate lid. Guided by the lid manipulator, lids are then positioned on the tray.

摘要： The lid of a box is pushed up from the main body of the box by injecting gas by use of one or more injection nozzles into a gap formed between the lid and main body of the box and then, with part of a top plate of the lid in contact with a lid rotating stopper, gas is further injected into the gap, or the lid is pushed up by injecting gas into the gap by use of one or more lower position injection nozzles and then gas is injected into the gap by use of one or more higher position injection nozzles in one or more stages, before the lid is opened from the main body. Thereby, it is possible to prevent the lids from being opened in a three-dimensional inclined state (in a one-side opened state) as well as to prevent the lid and main body of a box from being pushed upwardly simultaneously.

摘要： A box lid removing apparatus is herein described including upper and lower chain link, endless conveyors. A plurality of box lid grabbing suction members are mounted on the upper conveyor and a plurality of box base grabbing suction elements are mounted on the lower conveyor. The conveyors are arranged to convey a lidded box along a generally horizontal path. The upper conveyor may be arranged in the VERTICAL plane to diverge from the lower conveyor so that a box lid, held by a suction element on the upper conveyor, is removed from the box base as the box and lid are conveyed along the horizontal path defined between the two conveyors. In one feature of the invention, flexible conduits connect the suction elements with a source of vacuum through a rotary sequencing valve. One such valve may be associated with the upper conveyor and may be positioned above and generally midway between the opposite ends of the horizontal extension of the upper conveyor. The rotary sequencing valve associated with the lower conveyor may be disposed below and generally midway between the opposite ends of the horizontal extension of the lower conveyor. The conveyors may be supported, from a front portion of the overall assembly, in a cantilevered fashion.

摘要： A tool and method for puncturing a lid of a vacuum sealed bottle to release the vacuum and allow easy opening. A point extends down from the tool, and force may be exerted against the tool by the palm or thumb of a user causing the point to penetrate the lid. The point preferably extends between 3/16 inches and 1/16 inches down from the handle, and more preferably about 3/16 inches. In some embodiments the tool is mushroom shaped having a wider round or oval upper portion for grasping and a narrower lower portion centered under the upper portion of the handle, the point extending down from the lower portion.
