    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress gear hunting of a continuously variable transmission in a transitional period during cruise control.SOLUTION: A requested cruise-control horsepower calculation section 33 obtains a requested cruise-control horsepower HPs from a speed difference ΔS between a target cruising vehicle speed So and an actual vehicle speed S, and a requested cruise-control torque calculation section 34 obtains a requested cruise-control torque Tcs based on the requested cruise-control horsepower HPs and engine speed Ne. A cruise-control accelerator opening calculation section 37 sets a cruise-control accelerator opening θha by referring to an engine torque map in which the characteristic curve of the cruise-control accelerator opening θha is set along an equal horsepower curve based on the requested cruise-control torque Tsc and the engine speed Ne. A target primary rotation speed calculation section 25 sets a target primary rotation speed Npo by referring to a shift-line map based on the cruise-control accelerator opening θha and the actual vehicle speed S. A shift control section 26 obtains a target gear shift ratio based on the target primary rotation speed Npo and the actual vehicle speed S to perform shift control.
