摘要： The present invention provide a foot warmer (3) for use in a car which is equipped at the floor of the car, the foot-warmer (3) comprising a concave groove (13) formed in a meandering form on one surface of a heat insulating material (11); a heat radiating sheet (12) connected to the surface on which the groove (13) is formed; and a tube arranged in a meandering form in the groove (13) so as to transfer the heat of water flowing therein to the heat radiating sheet, (12) wherein a cooling water is heated at an engine and then is circulated through the tube (14) into the foot warmer. (3) In the foot warmer, (3) although the groove (13) may be provided in a meandering form, a plurality of parallel spaced grooves (13) may be also formed on the heat insulating material (11) in place of the meandering groove. In this case, the tube (4) has portions exposed from the sides of the heat insulating material (11) and, at the portions, is bent in a U-shaped form. In such an arrangement, the foot warmer (3) can be well fitted onto various types of cars and moderately warm the lower area near the feet in the cars without excessively warming the upper area.

摘要： An air conditioner for a vehicle including an engine, which serves as a power source and is configured to allow a cooling water to flow therethrough, includes a cooling water circuit, a heater, temperature sensors, and an output controller. The cooling water circuit allows the cooling water to circulate therein in a heating operation. The heater serves as a heat source, other than the engine, configured to heat the cooling water circulating in the cooling water circuit. The temperature sensors are connectable to the cooling water circuit and are configured to detect a temperature of the cooling water. The temperature sensors are positioned upstream and downstream of at least one of the engine and the heater. The output controller is configured to adjust at least an output of the heater based on the temperatures of the cooling water detected by the temperature sensors.

摘要： An ECU controls waste heat quantity of an engine according to a required heat quantity in response to a heat-utilize requirement. The ECU controls a valve opening period of an intake valve based on an engine driving condition and an ignition timing based on a most efficient timing at which fuel economy is highest. The ECU determines whether there is an ignition advance margin relative to the most efficient timing. When there is no margin, an actual compression ration of the engine is decreased by advancing or retarding a valve close timing of the intake valve and the ignition timing is advanced relative to the most efficient timing in order to increase the waste heat quantity.
