At least part of the tubular body is formed by a first layer (P1) made of a primary molding material and a second layer (P2) made of an overmolding material. The first layer (P1) is an inner layer made of a primary molding material providing a barrier effect against light by absorption, and the second layer (P2) is an outer layer made of an overmolding material providing a barrier effect against light by reflection. The neck is formed with the overmolding material of the second layer (P2) not coated by the primary molding material of the first layer (P2).

摘要： This invention relates to methods and apparatus for making articles made of polyester, preferably polyethylene terephthalate (PET), having coated directly to at least one of the surfaces thereof one or more layers of thermoplastic material with good gas-barrier characteristics. In one preferred method and apparatus, preforms are injection molded, barrier-coated immediately thereafter, and remain on a mold portion for a time to speed cooling of the completed preform. Preferably the barrier-coated articles take the form of preforms coated by at least one layer of barrier material and the containers are blow-molded therefrom. Such barrier-coated containers are preferably of the type to hold beverages such as soft drinks, beer or juice. The preferred barrier materials have a lower permeability to oxygen and carbon dioxide than PET as well as key physical properties similar to PET. The materials and methods provide that the barrier layers have good adherence to PET, even during and after the blow molding process to form containers from preforms. Preferred barrier coating materials include poly(hydroxyamino ethers).

摘要： An apparatus and method for the production of bi-material hollow bodies by injection overmolding is disclosed. The apparatus includes: n base molding cavities or groups of base molding cavities inserted between n+1 overmolding cavities or groups of overmolding cavities or vice versa; and 2n cores or groups of cores which are fixed to a core holder plate that is mounted such that it can move in a transverse direction on a base plate that is actuated to move in a longitudinal direction in order alternately to insert each core into one of the base molding cavities, to mold a first layer, and into one of the overmolding cavities, to overmold a second layer. The apparatus also includes an ejector for ejecting the finished bi-material hollow bodies and a valve for alternately distributing the molding material to one or the other of the outer cavities.

摘要： A very thin inner layer composed of a polymer chosen for its barrier and/or inertness properties is fabricated within a container preform constructed mainly from another polymer, or a structure of polymers. The inner layer on the preform is produced either by a controlled coating method involving coating of the injection mold core rod prior to injection molding or by a coating applied directly to the preform after injection molding. This enables both inner and main layers to be brought together at a time when the interface between them is molten. A tie layer can be employed, when desirable, to enable the layers to be combined without melting the layer interface.

摘要： A method for molding double-layered preforms in an injection, stretching and blow molding machine. Plastic material is injected into a cavity formed by a mated inner preform and core mold and into another cavity formed by a mated outer preform, neck mold and a core mold carrying an inner preform to form respectively inner and outer preforms. The inner core mold is lifted, while carrying an inner preform, and moved over the outer preform mold. The outer core mold is lifted and the neck mold strips the double-layer preform formed by the injection of the outer preform onto the inner preform. The neck mold carrying the double-layer preform is moved away from alignment with the outer preform mold and advances the preform to heating, stretching and blow molding stages. Another neck mold is moved into alignment with the outer preform mold prior to lowering the core mold carrying the inner preform into the outer preform mold. Simultaneous to lowering the core mold into the outer preform mold, the previously stripped core mold is lowered into the inner preform mold and plastic material is injected into the respective cavities.

摘要： Hollow injection molded article made of plastic material, esp. preform for blow molding a container, with a wall (17) extending along axis (Ι), which is composed of a layer of variable thickness (ε), being remarkable in that longitudinal ribs are provided in said axis direction, wherein the wall has a tooth profile of periodic nature varying periodically between a minimum and a maximum threshold value (m, resp. M) which is determined by a typical injection molding length (Ls) for said plastic material and/or characteristic ratio (εmax/εmin). A method of manufacturing thereof (10) by injection molding comprising forming inner and outer preforms (11, 12) with formation of an integrated composite preform (10), and apparatus for this purpose.
