摘要： The present invention relates to a tiltable tee apparatus suitable for use in practising golf driving. The apparatus comprises a ground support, and a tee platform rotatably mounted on the ground support. The tee platform comprises a base portion and a playing surface panel hingedly connected at a first edge portion to a corresponding edge portion of the base portion. The playing surface panel is supported at a jack support portion remote from the first edge portion on an upper end of at least one screw jack pivotally connected thereto. At least one screw jack has its lower end pivotally connected to the base portion. One of the ground support and the tee platform base portion has a fixed spur gear secured thereto in a substantially horizontal plane on the rotational axis of the rotatable tee platform, and the other has mounted thereon a drive motor with an elongate toothed drive output transmission member for driving engagement with the spur gear so as to rotate the tee platform in use of the apparatus. In use of the apparatus the tee platform may be tilted throughout a range of slope angles and slope directions by operation of the screw Jack and the tee platform rotation drive motor.

摘要： A practice platform is provided for use by a golfer to practice swinging a club on different inclines. The practice platform has a deck pivotally mounted to a base. Unlike known prior practice golf platforms, the deck is intended to be pivoted to different inclines solely by the golfer's positioning himself upon the deck so that his weight causes the deck to pivot, without the use of a power drive mechanism. The platform includes a mechanism to hold the deck in the selected position, and also to facilitate positioning of the deck by restricting it from pivoting freely through its full range of motion in reaction to the golfer's weight. A valve is provided which can control simultaneously the pivoting of the deck in all directions.

The lower wedge-shaped structure acts as a solid support for the upper wedge-shaped structure and rotation of the upper wedge-shaped structure may result in the tilt of the upper surface of the upper wedge-shaped structures over a continuous range from zero degrees up to the total of the angles of the two wedge-shaped structures. The direction of the tilt angle of the upper surface of the upper wedge-shaped structure relative to an underlying planar base can then be varied by rotating the two structures together about a vertical axis. The upper surface of the upper wedge-shaped structure is preferably covered with a simulated grass mat. The wedge-shaped structures may be either solid or formed from an assembly of structural elements that are arranged into a wedge shape and may be rotated manually and locked in a selected position, or each may be driven to such selected position by a powered drive assembly disposed either internally or externally on the structure itself.

The golf practice aid includes a flexible bag filled with a granular media such as plastic pellets. A flexible mat is adhered to an outer surface of the flexible bag-like enclosure. The flexible mat has a tufted surface which simulates natural turf and defines a practice area for practicing one's golf swing. In use, the bag is shaped to the desired configuration by manually pressing on the outer surface of the bag to shift the granular media. Once the desired configuration is obtained, the air is extracted from the bag. The bag collapses as the air is extracted to retain the pellets in the desired shape and to form a relatively rigid surface to support underlying the pressure mat upon which the user can stand.

The tee structure includes a hitting tee mounted on a rail system which enables the orientation of the tee surface to be altered. At the opposing end of the arena's playing field is a green structure surrounded by various playing hazards. The green structure is also movable and includes a putting surface formed by a seamed carpet positioned over an elevated putting deck. The deck is elevated by a plurality of upright supports varying in height and having angled upper surfaces. The upright supports extend from and are secured to a support frame. The upper angle of the surfaces and the height of the upright supports thus induce intricate contours and elevational changes into the putting surface making for a challenging game.
