摘要： Cigarettes are transferred in batches adopting a procedure that includes the steps of feeding loose cigarettes en masse into a hopper with a back wall and two side walls delimiting a top inlet and a bottom outlet, also a shutter by which the bottom outlet is opened or closed, and actively varying the geometry of the side walls so that the internal volume of the hopper is adapted to accommodate the quantity of cigarettes admitted through the inlet, by means of an actuator mechanism connected to the side walls. Thus, it becomes possible to monitor and control both the rate at which the cigarettes flow into the hopper, and the pressure to which the single cigarettes are subjected while occupying the hopper and during the process of filling a tray.

摘要： A machine for filling a container with cigarettes comprises a supply hopper for holding the cigarettes, a discharge section arranged in the lower portion of the supply hopper and through which the cigarettes are discharged into the container. The discharge section includes a plurality of partition walls vertically arranged in at intervals, thereby defining discharge passages, a plurality of freely rotatable stop rollers each arranged directly under its corresponding partition wall and oblate in shape. When the stop rollers are at a first rotational position, their paired flat surface extending from both sides of their corresponding partition walls. When the stop rollers are at a second rotational position, the paired arc surface portions into their corresponding discharge passages.

摘要： A tray filling unit in which batches of cigarettes, for plunging into a tray, are formed on a conveyor by inserting divider plates into a stream of cigarettes while it is conveyed down an inclined path leading to the conveyor. Successive batches formed on the conveyor are moved transversely off the conveyor onto a movable transfer plate which supports the batch while it is pushed into a tray by the plunger. Trays are moved stepwise downwards to receive successive batches. The basic unit is capable of use in reverse as a tray unloader.
