    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of controlling a blowing nozzle for avoiding a risk of a collision between a transfer clamp and a hanging bell of the nozzle. SOLUTION: A mold carrier unit for stretch blow-molding a preform 3 arranged in a mold 2 includes a stretch rod 10 supported by a slide 13 at one side and the blowing nozzle 15 with a fixed body 16 at the other side. The stretch rod can move to the bottom of the mold, and the blowing nozzle is extended by a hanging bell 20. The free margin 25 of the hanging bell can move from a non-operation position where the free end margin is held at a position approximately as high as the free end 11 of the stretch rod to an operation position where the hanging bell is attached to a surface 4 of an inlet of the mold to form a closed passage of a blown fluid. A stopper 23 cooperates with a support 24 formed on a slide to move from the operation position to the non-operation position of the hanging bell in accordance with the same law of motion as that of the stretch rod.
