    • PURPOSE:To prevent an auxiliary lanyard from being entangled so as to perform the smooth recovery of an anchor by pulling the anchor up from the crown side of a shank by a second auxiliary lanyard at the time of recovering the rooted anchor. CONSTITUTION:On board, a heavy bob is opened to enclose a main lanyard 42, then closed and locked, released from a hand and dropped being guided by the main lanyard 42. When the heavy bob reaches a first fastening device 10, a release lever 32 is detached from a locking claw. With the tensile force of the main lanyard 42 through a first auxiliary lanyard 56, the rod 66 of a second locking device opens a cutout part, to thereby release a shackle 86. An anchor 80 is therefore pulled up from the crown side of a shank 82 by a second auxiliary lanyard 88. The mutual entanglement between a second main lanyard 50 and the first auxiliary lanyard 56 is thereby prevented by a guide 54. The rooted anchor 80 can be thus released easily by winding the main lanyard 42.

    • PURPOSE:To prevent a chain and a wire from being entangled with each other, and enable the smooth operation of the wire even when the chain is twisted by projecting a wire guide within an angle area enclosed with each chain comprising a plurality of approximately elliptical rings, and inserting a flexible wire through the wire guide. CONSTITUTION:A chain 100 comprises elliptical rings 102 connected to each other, and each ring 102 is connected at an angle of 90 deg.. Also, an annular guide 104 is so fixed to each ring 102 as to be located within the same plane enclosed with the 90 deg. angle of the ring 102 when viewed in a lengthwise direction. The guide 104 has a single wire 106 inserted and the wire 106 has suitable elasticity for preventing the twist of the chain 100 and allowing the easy handling thereof. The chain 100 is used, for example, for releasing an anchor. Furthermore, the upper end of the chain 100 is connected to the release lever 32 of the first hooking device 10, and the upper end of the wire 106 connected to the pin 34 of the device 10.

    • PURPOSE:To make it possible to release an anchor caught by a root or the like by connecting a main cable between a ship deck and an anchor shank, and by additionally laying an auxiliary cable for releasing the engagement between the shank and a fluke. CONSTITUTION:The body 112a of a lock key 112 is normally pressed toward a cam plate 108 by the urging force of a spring 114 so that it is engaged in a cut-out 110 in the cam plate 108, and accordingly, fluke 104 is fixed in a predetermined acute angle condition with respect to a shank 102. In this arrangement, when an auxiliary cable 116 is pulled, the lock key 112 is returned overooming the spring 114 so as to be pulled out from be rotated in an angle range over 360 deg. together with a shaft 106 so that the fluke 104 may be released from an object to which the fluke 104 is caught on the sea bottom. Thus, it is possible to release the anchor caught by a root.

    • PURPOSE:To make the pulling up of an anchor easy by attaching the anchor so that its rear end may take its position nearer to the lower end of a loop shaped rope than a middle between the lower end of said rope and a locking device to lock said lower end. CONSTITUTION:An anchor is sunk into water on such conditions that a rope 12 whose one end is fixed to a locking device 14 is looped over a shank 52 through guides 66, 68, 70, and an eye part 16 at the lower end of the rope 12 is locked on the hook member 58 of said locking device 14, and moreover a stopper 72 keeps the side of the shank 52 under tension. In pulling up the anchor, when a weight 20A is made to fall along the rope 12 from a board, a lock lever 60 rotates counterclockwise to release the hook member 58 from itself, and the eye 16A becomes therefore free. When the rope 12 has been pulled up then, the eye 16A is locked by a ring 70, and the anchor 18 is pulled up from its tip side with a nail 50 facing downward. The nail caught by a rock or the like therefore easily leaves it, and thereby the anchor can be simply pulled up.
