    • The present invention relates to an apparatus for controlling temperature of an optical module using an uncooled laser diode. A first setup unit for establishing low-temperature setup voltage and a second setup unit for establishing high-temperature setup voltage determine first and second threshold voltages suitable for low-temperature and high-temperature setup voltages, respectively. First and second comparators compare the low-temperature and high-temperature setup voltages with sensor voltage received from a sensor voltage entry unit, respectively. The output signals of the comparators are applied to a logic circuit, such that the logic circuit generates on/off signals according to the result of the comparison. The logic circuit generates a high-level signal only when the sensor voltage escaped from a predetermined voltage range, and thus operates the temperature control circuit. Therefore, the TEC and the heater contained in the TEC/heater mounting member are operated to generate heat, such that the uncooled laser diode can be heated or cooled at only predetermined temperature. As a result, the uncooled laser diode can be heated or cooled at only predetermined temperature, controls temperature of the optical module at a low power level, resulting in reduction of power consumption.

In the coordinate conversion apparatus, an input-size register stores a size of an image inputted from an outside. An accumulation register detects a sampling position in an input image grid by accumulating only remainders not quotients of the image size stored in the input-size register. An adder adds an output value of the input-size register and an output value of the accumulation register and outputting the resulting addition value to the accumulation register. An output-size register stores a size of an output image. A decode logic unit obtains a position between input samples from which an output pixel is re-sampled, by comparing a size of an output image from the accumulation register with a size of an output image from the output-size register.

    • The present invention relates to a method of providing a routing protocol in a sensor network. The routing protocol is a new model which is made considering a battery efficiency so that an AODV protocol, which is widely used because of its simplified and reliable algorithm, can be matched to a sensor condition. An energy information of a node is contained in the RREQ message of the AODV, thereby allowing the neighboring nodes and the nodes on the path to know their energy states. The method of providing a routing protocol in a sensor network includes the steps of: initializing a routing table and searching a network device of a node to initialize a host; opening a socket when there is a request for forwarding of an IP (Internet Protocol) packet from an upper layer or when there is a request through the network device; determining whether there is the IP packet forwarding request of the upper layer node or whether the packet is received from the network device; if there is the IP packet forwarding request of the upper layer, searching the routing table, and determining whether or not there is a destination node which intends to transmit the packet, and returning to a main loop if there is the destination node; and if the packet is received through the network device, determining types of the received packets and performing RREQ process, IDLE process, RREP process, RERR process, and RREP_ACK process.

    • A system and method for performing a traffic process in an integrated network of a VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol) network and a PSTN (Public Switched Telephone Network) are provided. The system includes: a softswitch which has a plurality of ASPs (Application Server Processes), transmits a data signal to other nodes through an ASP that is selected from among the ASPs, and transmits a heartbeat request message when a CPU (Central Processing Unit) utilization ratio and an SCTP (System Control Transmission Protocol) level congestion of the ASPs exceed respective reference points according to AS (Application Server)/ASP information; and a signaling gateway which updates the reference points of the CPU utilization ratio and the SCTP level congestion in response to the heartbeat request message and transmits a heartbeat acknowledgement message to the softswitch, and checks the CPU utilization ratio and the SCTP level congestion for a plurality of active ASPs within a predetermined CIC (Circuit Identification Code) or SSN (Sub-System Number) range according to the AS/ASP information, to determine the selected ASP when the signaling gateway receives data signal from outside and traffic is distributed.
