摘要： An image forming apparatus that performs fixing processing on a sheet having a transferred toner image in smaller area units than the size of the sheet includes an image forming unit that forms a toner image in each predetermined color, a transfer unit that transfers the toner image in each color over a sheet, a detecting unit that detects, for each of the areas, the maximum number of stacked toner images, a determining unit that determines the amount of heat to be applied to the area based on the maximum number of stacked toner images of the area detected by the detecting unit, and a fixing unit that, on each of the areas on the sheet after the transfer processing by the transfer unit, applies the amount of heat determined by the determining unit and fixes a transferred toner image in each color.

Thus, while the amount of water consumed and the work burden on the user associated with water replenishment are reduced, the water retained inside the steam generating device (pot) is prevented from getting spoilt, and the interior of the steam generating means can be kept sanitary.

摘要： A heat-cooking apparatus includes blowing means (100) that blows cooling air to an opening (20a) of a heating chamber (20) when a door (11) is opened after steam is supplied to the heating chamber (20) for preparatory operation before heat-cooking or for heat-cooking itself. More specifically, after steam is supplied to the heating chamber (20), when the door (11) is opened, the blowing means (100) drives a conventionally existing cooling fan (101) to suck in cooling air from outside the apparatus, and deflects the cooling air toward the opening (20a) of the heating chamber (20) with a decoration box (102) so that the cooling air is blown to the opening (20a) so as to pass sideways substantially across it. Thus, the cooling air mixes with high-temperature steam that tends to overflow frontward as soon as the door (11) is opened, and thereby lowers the temperature of the steam. This surely prevents the user from being hurt, as by being burnt, with the overflowing steam. Thus, without use of special exhausting means, it is possible to open the door (11) while ensuring the safety of the user even immediately after a heating medium (for example, steam) is supplied to the. heating chamber (20).
