    • PURPOSE: To collect the charge surely on pre-payment basis by stopping supply of gas when the amount in matching with a supply amount stored in a storage medium is supplied. CONSTITUTION: When the user purchases a memory card 6 storing a frequency in response to a gas flow in advance and inserts the card to a socket SC2 , a CPU 18 uses a frequency input revision circuit 25 to read the frequency of the memory card 6 and displays it on a frequency display device L4 via a display drive circuit 24. When an open switch SW2 is operated in this state, a shut-off valve 17 is open via a shut output circuit 22. When the user uses gas, a flow pulse is received from a remote gas meter 16. The CPU 18 decrements the frequency stored in the memory card 6 depending on the flow pulses and allows the frequency display device L4 to display the remaining frequency. When the frequency reaches a specified frequency or below, a buzzer B1 is energized and when the frequency reaches zero, the shut-off valve 17 is closed.
