摘要： PURPOSE:To prevent cold water from being frozen by connecting a high pressure part to an evaporator through an opening/closing valve and providing power interrup tion detection means for detecting power interruption to open the opening/closing valve. CONSTITUTION:Once a power interruption detector 8 detects power interruption and is turned on, an opening/closing valve 9 is opened. Thereupon, high pressure nitrogen gas in a nitrogen bomb 10 enters an evaporator 1 and hence the inside of the evaporator 1 is made high pressure. Accordingly, the boiling point is raised and evaporation is suppressed to cause the operation of a freezer to be interrupted and hereby prevent cold water from being frozen. In succession, as the power interruption detector 8 detects power supply and is turned off, the opening/closing valve 9 is closed and an extraction device 11 is operated. Accordingly, the nitrogen gas in the evaporator 1 is exhausted to permit the inside thereof to be made low pressure whereby the boiling point is lowered and evaporation is started to actuate the operation of the freezer. Although the above-described gas is not limited to inactive gas such as nitrogen, inactive gas is used in order to prevent any impurity from being dissolved into clean cold water. Hereby, supply of low temperature cold water is ensured for effective utilization of waste heat.

CONSTITUTION:Warm drain water or fluid of low pressure steam, etc., generated from a CGS 1 is fed to a waste heat line 2, which is arranged at an absorption refrigerator 20 via a branch line L2 together with a hot water heat exchanger 4 and a cooling tower 5. A heat exchanger 32 for a warm heat source for heat exchanging warm drain water flowing at the line L2 with absorbent dilute solution flowing at a dilute solution line L1 is disposed at the line L1 between a high temperature solution heat exchanger 14 of the refrigerator 20 and a low temperature solution heat exchanger 15. Thus, low temperature waste heat from the CGS can be effectively utilized.

When a deciding means 32 decides that double effects can be obtained, the three-way valve 28 is switched so that steam flows from the first generator 11 into the third generator 13 but when it is decided that the double effect can not be obtained, the three-way valve 28 is switched so that the steam from the first generator 11 flows into the first condenser 17-1.
