    • Mobile computing devices such as tablet computers can include multiple input devices mounted on a housing. The input devices are arranged in a first array located near a first side of the housing, and in a second array that is substantially identical to the first array and is located near a second side of the housing. Each of the input devices is operable to generate an output when actuated. The output of each input device corresponds to a function. The computing devices are configured so that each of the input devices in the first array is functionally equivalent to a corresponding one of the input devices located at the same relative location the second array, so that the functions can be activated by the user using either the left or right hand regardless of how the mobile computing device is being held.

    • Provided is an optical device having an optical waveguide including an organic Bragg grating sheet. The optical device includes a cladding layer, and an optical waveguide. The cladding layer is formed on a substrate, and the optical waveguide is formed within the cladding layer. The optical waveguide includes a core layer and an organic Bragg grating sheet located within the core layer. The organic Bragg grating sheet has a refractive index higher than that of the core layer to reflect or transmit light having a predetermined wavelength.     • A piezoelectric micro electro-mechanical system switch (MEMS), an array of piezoelectric MEMS switches, and a method of fabricating the switch, which are capable of improving low voltage and switching characteristics while securing high signal isolation, are provided. The piezoelectric MEMS switch includes a semiconductor substrate including a groove, a support formed over the semiconductor substrate and the groove. An actuator including a piezoelectric layer is formed on the support. A switching member is formed on the support on one side of the actuator, wherein upward movement of the switching member changes by a deformation of the piezoelectric layer of the actuator. Radio frequency (RF) transfer lines are arranged at a predetermined distance on the switching member and are separated by a predetermined interval from each other. The actuator is formed to have at least two cantilevers each having one end such that the ends are connected to each other.
