SOLUTION: The device for producing frozen confectionery is provided with the following: a chilling cylinder charged with a mix, a beater for stirring the mix in the chilling cylinder, and a chilling device for chilling the chilling cylinder so as to chill the mix while stirring it in the cylinder to produce frozen confectionery. The device comprises a frozen confectionery extracting part composed of a freezer door 14 extracting the frozen confectionery produced in the cooling cylinder, and an ultraviolet sterilizing lamp 81. The frozen confectionery extracting part is made from a material through which at least ultraviolet rays are permeable, and is so made that the ultraviolet rays can be applied to the frozen confectionery extracting part from the ultraviolet sterilizing lamp 81.
