摘要： A technique for providing event-based secondary information to a user equipment is disclosed. According to one embodiment, the technique may be realized as a method for providing secondary information to a user equipment. The method may comprise the steps of: detecting at least one triggering event in a user equipment while the user equipment is receiving a primary content via a first communication channel; transmitting, in response to the at least one triggering event, a request for a secondary content to a phonepage server via a second communication channel, the requested secondary content comprising at least one data object; locating the at least one data object; causing the at least one data object to be transmitted to the user equipment via a third communication channel; and rendering the at least one data object on the user equipment.

A shopper enters a product search query into a hand-held device and, via Near-Field Communication (NFC) technology, transfers the query to a terminal at a shopping establishment. The terminal forwards the search query to a search engine over a network and the search engine, after consulting a database, returns results meeting the criteria of the search query to the terminal for presentation on a display at the terminal. The shopper is then offered the option of transferring the results data, via NFC devices located in the hand-held device and the terminal, from the terminal to a memory in the hand-held device.

摘要： A system and method is provided for customizing media content, and particularly video content, by creating highlight portions thereof of the video content. VIn exemplary embodiments, the video files (20) are 'marked' or 'flagged' of 'flagged' about the portions of the video content (22) to segment the highlight portions within the media file. The marks or flags may be inputted and incorporated as part of the metadata (24) associated with the video file. A user's electronic device (10) may then extract the marks or flags from the metadata, which causes a media player on the portable electronic device (63) to play only the marked highlight portions. In addition,A a user may share the highlights with others by transmitting the marked video files to others' electronic devices. Alternatively, the highlight creator may transmit only the metadata to another's electronic device, and the metadata marks may be extracted and applied to a video file stored on the other's device or streamed thereto.

摘要： An enclosure for generating a secondary environment within a processing chamber for coating a substrate. An enclosure wall forms a secondary environment encompassing the coating source, plasma, and the substrate, and separating them from interior of the processing chamber. The enclosure wall includes a plurality of pumping channels for diverting gaseous flow away from the substrate. The channels have an intake of larger diameter from the exhaust opening and are oriented at an angle with the intake opening pointing away from the deposition source. A movable seal enables transport of the substrate in open position and processing the substrate in closed position. The seal may be formed as a labyrinth seal to avoid particle generation from a standard contact seal.
