    • A liquid container includes a liquid containing portion, a case, a liquid detection unit, and an impact absorbing portion. The liquid containing portion contains liquid. The case forms a space that accommodates the liquid containing portion. The liquid detection unit includes a liquid introducing portion that is connected through an attachment portion, which is provided in the case, to a liquid delivery port of the liquid containing portion. The impact absorbing portion is provided at least between a bottom face of the case and the liquid detection unit to absorb an impact applied to the liquid detection unit.

    • Disclosed is a liquid detection unit having a liquid detection chamber, a detection portion including a detection space communicating with the liquid detection chamber via a through hole of a detection portion installation member and a piezoelectric sensor which detects remaining vibrations, and a movable member including a detection space sealing surface which is urged by an urging member and thus comes to abut against one surface of a detection portion installation member. The liquid detection chamber includes an abutting surface abutting against a second sealing surface being in contact with a first sealing surface of the movable member and the detection portion installation member. When a distance between the first sealing surface of the movable member to the detection space sealing surface is defined as L1 and a distance between the second sealing surface of the liquid detection chamber to the abutting surface is defined as L2, the relationship L1>L2 is satisfied.

    • A liquid container includes: a container body which has a liquid containing portion for containing liquid therein and which is detachably mounted in a container mounting portion of a liquid consuming apparatus; a remaining liquid amount detecting unit in which a sensor member for detecting a state of a remaining liquid amount is provided in a unit case and which is detachably attached to the container body; a circuit board which has a memory device and a contact point for connecting the memory device to a connection terminal of the container mounting portion and which is attached to the container body; and a relay terminal which is attached to the unit case so as to electrically connect the sensor member to the circuit board. The remaining liquid amount detecting unit is attached to an attachment portion, which is provided at a position spaced apart from the circuit board on the container body, by a predetermined operation. The relay terminal is fixed to the unit case in a state where one end thereof comes in contact with and is electrically connected to a terminal of the sensor member, and the other end of the relay terminal is movably held on the unit case. A position regulating member for causing a position of the other end of the relay terminal to match a position of the contact point on the circuit board is provided near an attachment position of the circuit board so as to protrude from the attachment position.
