    • PURPOSE:To carry out optimum natural indoor ventilation under the favorable conditions by opening a ventilation window on the windward side based on wind direction data at an opening and closing degree in conformity with wind velocity data, and what is more, exhausting the wind on the windward side outdoors through an air-well void portion in a column in the center of a building. CONSTITUTION:In a multi-floor building which forms an approximately disk-shaped polygon outside wall 2, centering on a hollow column 1, an exhaust air port 1a is formed near a ceiling portion 3a under a slab on each floor in the outer peripheral part of the column 1. A space which envelops the column 1 on each floor is used for general dwelling quarters. A large number of ventilation windows 4 are laid out along the peripheral surfaces of the outside wall under the slab 3 on each floor where a loop-shaped ventilation duct 5 communicating with the ventilation windows 4 is laid out on the ceiling portion 3a under the ventilation windows 4 in the peripheral surfaces of the building. A large number of slit-shaped air supply opening sections 5a are formed in the inner peripheral part of this duct 5. Each ventilation window 4 forces the ventilation windows on the windward side to be opened at an opening and closing degree in conformity with wind velocity data by using a microcomputer.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent clogging of a headrace member, and to arrange a feed pipe without affecting the ground surface even in a large plot, by forming the feed pipe for moistening the road surface in a culvert type, and completely burying the feed pipe in the ground. SOLUTION: The wet pavement system is comprised of a water-permeable pavement material 5 forming the ground surface and has water absorption properties, and a culvert 12 embedded within the pavement material 5, for allowing water to flow therein. The wet pavement system further includes a headrace member 3 and headwaters. The headrace member 3 has one end thereof immersed in the culvert 12 and the other end thereof arranged under the surface of the pavement material 5, whereby part of water in the culvert 12 can be transmitted to the pavement material 5 by capillary action. The headwaters supply water through the headrace pipe into the culvert 12.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to use a total amount of water stored in these water tanks concentratedly at one location by providing separately a large number of fire preventive water tanks with a proper spacing and communicating each of the water tanks with a communication pipeline. SOLUTION: A large number of fire preventive water tanks are dispersedly provided with a proper spacing in a wide area so that they may be placed basically at the same level. Each of the fire preventive water tanks 1 is set up respectively so as to comply with some unevenness of specified geographical features. More particularly some should be provided completely underground while the other should be partially exposed to the ground. A large number of fire preventive water tanks 1 are communicated with each other by way of communication pipelines 2 basically at the lowest water level. This construction makes it possible to maintain many fire preventive water tanks completely at the same water storage level and supply water to the specific tank in automatic mode even if water is pumped up from any fire preventive water tank located at any place and feed water concentratedly at one location.
